Beltre was sitting along the railing in the third inning when Mike Napoli hit a sharp foul ball back to the dugout. The ball bounced once and hit Beltre in the head. He disappeared quickly down the tunnel and wasn't seen for several minutes. Beltre underwent concussion testing and was able to stay in the game.
