Johnson had five receptions on seven targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 42-17 loss to Arizona.
Matching up primarily against CB Patrick Peterson, Johnson was held in check for the second straight year (he caught just 5-of-12 targets for 59 yards versus the Cardinals in 2104). Of bigger concern for Johnson is his lack of downfield usage and production, as he's made just three catches of 20+ yards, and one of those receptions came from backup QB Dan Orlovsky (Matthew Stafford was benched Sunday for ineffectiveness). Furthermore, Megatron entered Sunday's game with a mediocre 5.7 YPT, which would easily be the worst mark of his prolific career. He'll look to make some big plays at home in Week 6 against Chicago, but he needs some help from Stafford.

Orlovsky completed 21-of-38 passes for 191 yards, with one touchdown and an interception, in Sunday's 42-17 loss to Arizona.
Orlovsky entered the game midway through the third quarter for an ineffective Matthew Stafford, who tossed three interceptions. The backup QB was able to move the ball a bit in the second half, but he did not lead the Lions to a touchdown until the 1:36 mark of the fourth quarter, when he hit Lance Moore on a 13-yard score. Stafford is Detroit's franchise QB, for better or worse, so don't expect Orlovsky to start anytime soon.

Stafford completed 20-of-32 passes for 188 yards, with one touchdown and three interceptions in Sunday's blowout loss to Arizona. He was benched midway through the third quarter in favor of backup QB Dan Orlovsky.
Stafford's first interception came on an extremely athletic play by DE Cory Redding, but his other two picks were bad reads. It's been a funky season in general for Stafford, who has yet to post a 300-yard passing game, and has just a 6:8 TD:INT ratio. He seems to be taking fewer shots down the field, as Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate have combined for just six receptions of 20+ yards, and while he's been sacked just seven times, the offensive line has underachieved. It might not get better for Stafford next week against Chicago, which has held Stafford to just a 14:12 TD:INT ratio and 80.6 QB Rating in nine career games.

Hartline caught one pass for five yards on three targets in Sunday's win over Baltimore.
In a Cleveland receiving corps without many experienced targets, the solid-but-not-spectacular Hartline was to serve as a dependable presence. That hasn't happened, however, as Hartline trails the likes of Taylor Gabriel and rookie running back Duke Johnson in catches and targets. Since a quality 96-yard performance against Oakland in Week 3, Hartline has caught just two passes on four targets. While, in fairness, Hartline has been banged up with thigh and rib injuries, he may be phased out of the offense by the time he's healthy with the emergence of the speedy Travis Benjamin and veteran tight end Gary Barnidge.

Benjamin snagged six passes for 83 yards off of 12 targets in Sunday's win over Baltimore.
Benjamin leads the team in targets, yards and touchdowns through five weeks - racking up 32 targets over the past three weeks. Though he is being incorporated more and more in Cleveland's offense with McCown under center, it is worth mentioning that three of his four touchdown receptions came from the arm of Johnny Manziel and the speedy Benjamin has not been used as much of a deep threat with McCown. Benjamin averaged 34 yards per catch on six receptions in the season's first two weeks. In the past three games, he's averaged 12.9 yards per catch on 16 receptions.

Ryan completed 24-of-42 passes for 254 yards and rushed three times for 20 yards in Sunday's overtime win over Washington. He also threw two interceptions and lost a fumble while failing to record a touchdown.
Matty Ice was far from his best Sunday, and his inability to take care of the football almost led to his team's first loss of the season. The continued emergence of Devonta Freeman as a force to be reckoned with on the ground should open up more space for Ryan, and he still has star wide receiver Julio Jones to rely on in the clutch. That being said, he'll have to put this clunker behind him quickly as the Falcons travel to New Orleans for Thursday Night Football in Week 6.

Myers secured both of his targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 38-31 victory over the Jaguars.
Myers continues to put together serviceable performances in place of the injured Austin Seferian-Jenkins. The veteran tight end managed to actually get downfield on both of his Week 5 receptions, with the pair of catches totaling 17 yards apiece. There is a good chance that Seferian-Jenkins returns to his starting role in Week 7 following the Bucs' bye, which would reduce Myers' already scant opportunities in the offense.

Jackson secured one-of-three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-31 victory over the Jaguars.
Jackson's day was the polar opposite of his 10-catch, 147-yard Week 4 performance. The Bucs' running game was in full throttle for the majority of the afternoon Sunday, allowing Jameis Winston to remain generally conservative through the air. With a rookie quarterback at the helm, Jackson's offensive output will likely fluctuate week-to-week over the course of the season. He'll next take the field against a beatable Redskins secondary in Week 7 following Tampa's bye.

Jones (hamstring/toe) hauled in five of his 10 targets for 67 yards, and scooped up a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown in Sunday's victory over the Redskins.
Jones has dropped off significantly from his historic early-season pace in the last two weeks, but his team-leading 10 targets indicate that he's still quarterback Matt Ryan's favorite target. The star receiver buoyed his fantasy day with a heads-up scoring play on which he picked up a Devonta Freeman fumble in the end zone, but he's too talented to not pick up a few more conventional scores in the near future.
Sun Oct 11 201518:19Ware (back) ruled out of Sunday's contest in OaklandDeMarcus WareLBCowboysFree Agent
Ware (back) was ruled out of Sunday's contest in Oakland, Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports.
With Ware out of the game, the Broncos are without their leading sack artist on the season (4.5 entering Week 5). Afterward, the team is apt to clarify the nature of the back issue and whether it impacts his ability to suit up for upcoming Sundays.

Barnidge caught eight passes off of 10 targets for 139 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over Baltimore.
Even in what was a clouded Browns receiving corps, few could have expected Barnidge to lead the team in receptions through five weeks. His 24 catches already top a career high and there may be more where that came from. Barnidge was targeted just six times in the season's first two weeks, but has seen 26 passes come in his direction in the three games since. Without many distinguished targets in Cleveland and a quarterback geared toward ball control, expect the 6-foot-6 veteran to continue to be featured prominently.

Levy suffered a hip injury in Sunday's game against the Cardinals and is questionable to return, MLive.com reports.
Levy can't seem to catch a break lately. Playing in his first game this season, Levy suffered a hip injury in the second quarter and was taken into the locker room. He had been sidelined since August 24 with a separate hip injury. Josh Bynes, who has played in Levy's place thus far, was once again on the field today in Levy's absence.

Rodgers' (elbow) right arm was "heavily" wrapped and in a sling after Sunday's contest at Kansas City, Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Rodgers received his typical allotment of touches in Week 5 -- three carries for three yards -- but the injury places a cloud over his availability going forward. If he's at all hindered next Sunday in Detroit, Jeremy Langford would be in line for a bit more work behind Matt Forte.

Tamme (concussion) led the Falcons with eight catches for 94 yards on 10 targets Sunday against the Redskins.
The veteran tight end was heavily involved in the team's game plan alongside Julio Jones while the team's secondary receivers like Leonard Hankerson and Roddy White were marginalized. It's tough to see this level of volume as the beginning of a trend rather than a one-week quirk considering Tamme's unimpressive numbers coming into this contest.

LaFell (foot) was spotted on the field working out with a few teammates prior to Sunday's game against the Cowboys, the Boston Herald reports.
Of course, LaFell remains on the Patriots' PUP list, but the report notes that the wideout can play as soon as Week 7, with ESPN's Mike Reiss relaying Sunday that LaFell's recovery is reportedly on schedule.

Dalton completed 30-of-44 passes for 331 yards with two touchdowns and one interception Sunday against the Seahawks, and he also rushed seven times for 18 yards and another score.
Dalton's excellent run continues, as he's now thrown for multiple touchdowns in four of five games this season, while passing for at least 320 yards in three straight games. He connected with six different receivers Sunday, throwing both of his touchdowns to tight end Tyler Eifert, who has really gotten to another level this season. Up next is a tough Week 6 matchup at Buffalo before a Week 7 bye.

White caught 2-of-4 targets for 23 yards Sunday against the Redskins.
Games like this one have become customary for the aging wideout, as White just doesn't seem to have the ability to separate from defenders like he once could. Owners in standard leagues should consider their alternatives following another sub-standard performance from Roddy.

Ware is questionable to return to Sunday's game in Oakland due to a back injury, Patrick Smith of the Broncos' official site reports.
Ware has led a fearsome pass rush this season, accruing 4.5 of the Broncos' 18 sacks entering Week 5. Before leaving in the second quarter, he managed three tackles (one solo), and if he doesn't return, his status will be monitored closely to ensure he takes the field next Sunday at Cleveland.

Martin had 24 carries for 123 yards and two touchdowns while also securing all three of his targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-31 victory over the Jaguars.
Martin put together consecutive 100-yard efforts for the first time since his outstanding rookie campaign in 2012, and his recent play has been progressively reminscent of some of his eye-opening performances that season. The fourth-year pro looked strong and decisive on several runs through the heart of the Jaguars' front seven, and also broke multiple tackles on his nifty 10-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Martin's recent contributions through the air have also included securing all eight of his targets over the last two games, making him an increasingly reliable and all-important checkdown option for Jameis Winston. Martin will face off against the Redskins normally-stout run defense in Week 7 following Tampa's bye.

McCown connected on 36-of-51 passes for 457 yards and two scores in Sunday's win over Baltimore. He added 12 yards on the ground on three carries.
McCown nearly doubled his per-game average in yards against the slumping Ravens. Though perhaps best known for playing ahead of Johnny Manziel, McCown is quietly putting together a solid season, posting an impressive 6-to-1 TD/INT ratio in four starts. Coming into the season, there were two primary questions about McCown: whether he could repeat his efficient performance of 2013 and whether he had the weapons to succeed in Cleveland. Thus far, McCown has been accurate, careful with the football and developed a rapport with the likes of Gary Barnidge, Travis Benjamin and Andrew Hawkins. Next week he'll be tested by the Broncos' relentless pass rush and deep secondary.
