C Welington Castillo (testicular injury) might do some catching before coming off the disabled list in the coming days. Manager Buck Showalter said the Orioles are not sure yet exactly how that is going to play out.

C Welington Castillo is on the 10-day DL after suffering a testicular injury Tuesday night on a deflected pitch. He will not be able to do any rehab for at least another three or four days. "It's not an easy conversation other than how you're feeling," manager Buck Showalter said. Castillo has been one of the Orioles' most productive hitters, batting .317 with four home runs and 17 RBIs.

C Welington Castillo was placed on the 10-day disabled list due to a testicular injury that happened during the May 30 game. Castillo spent some time in the emergency room afterwards, and he will need a few days rest.

C Welington Castillo had been hot until the last few games, but he slipped into an 0-for-9 skid. However, Castillo got one of the team's two hits in Tuesday's loss to the Twins, a single in the second, and has a .367 average this month.

Once again, the pitch-framing metrics were unkind to Castillo this season, painting him as a receiver who cost his pitchers strikes. "He's actually really good," Greinke said. "Probably doesn't get a ton of credit throughout the league, but he's actually very solid all-around. Every part of his game is average to a little above average, I believe."
