Gordon (ankle) returned to action Wednesday against the Suns but went scoreless in 11 minutes of action. He contributed four rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
Gordon is averaging 5.4 points and 3.1 rebounds for the season, and it's unlikely he'll get enough minutes in the rotation to produce value in most fantasy leagues.
Wed Mar 4 201517:40Gordon (ankle) will be available Wednesday against Suns
Gordon (ankle) will be available Wednesday against the Suns, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Gordon was limited in Tuesday's practice, but he's been given the green light by the Magic's training staff after missing the last two games. Look for the rookie to see limited minutes, likely somewhere in the 12-17 range, off the bench.
Wed Mar 4 201510:59Gordon (ankle) limited participant in practice Tuesday
Gordon (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Tuesday, John Denton of the team's official site reports.
The practice time is good news for the recovery of Gordon's sprained ankle, though he will likely be a game-time decision for the Magic's game Wednesday night against the Suns. Even if he does play, Gordon has only played limited minutes recently when healthy, so he probably won't see enough court time to warrant fantasy use even if he does play.
Sun Mar 1 201516:38Gordon (ankle) will not play in Sunday's game against Hornets
Gordon (ankle) will not play in Sunday's game against the Hornets, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Gordon is in line to miss his second-straight game as he continues to deal with an ankle injury. His next opportunity to take the court will be against the Suns on Wednesday.
Fri Feb 27 201510:47Gordon (ankle) will not play Friday against Hawks
Gordon (ankle) will not play Friday against the Hawks, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.
Gordon, who sprained his right ankle Wednesday against the Heat, did not travel with the team to Atlanta and should be considered questionable to play Sunday when the Magic return home. The rookie has seen his playing time diminish of late, as he's played fewer than 10 minutes in three of Orlando's last four games.

Gordon (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's matchup with Atlanta, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Gordon departed Wednesday's game late in the second quarter after spraining his right ankle and did not return. He finished with six points (3-3 FG, 0-2 FT), one rebound and one assist in nine minutes. The Magic will wait to see how the ankle feels Friday, and an update should be available following morning shootaround.

Gordon won't return to Wednesday's game against the Heat due to a sprained right ankle, the Magic's official site reports.
Gordon logged nine minutes in the first half, recording six points (3-3 FG, 0-2 FT), one rebound, one assist, and one steal. However, he didn't make an appearance after the 1:39 mark in the second quarter. As a result, consider him questionable for Friday's contest in Atlanta.
Wed Feb 11 201517:26Gordon will come off bench Wednesday against Knicks
Gordon will come off the bench Wednesday against the Knicks, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Gordon moved into the starting lineup Monday in the absence of Tobias Harris, but he'll return to the bench Wednesday, as Evan Fournier gets the nod at small forward. Gordon found himself in foul trouble Monday and played just 17 minutes, and he'll likely see similar run Wednesday.

Gordon scored five points (2-4 FG, 1-1 FT) to go along with one steal and one block in 17 minutes Monday against the Wizards.
Gordon started in place of Tobias Harris (knee) Monday, but wasn't able to take advantage of the opportunity. He has great athletic abilities, but he's too raw at this point to be a significant fantasy contributor.

Gordon played 12 minutes off the bench Sunday in his second game back from a one-game absence with soreness in his left foot.
Gordon's role will likely be to small to warrant rostering him in standard leagues, but in deeper leagues and dynasty formats, he's a highly-intriguing player to have going forward.

Gordon's foot soreness that prohibited him from Wednesday's contest didn't stem from complications with the inserted screw, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Gordon underwent surgery November 21st to repair the fifth metatarsal in his left foot. The team rested him two games ago following soreness in the same foot. His minutes were steadily climbing under former head coach Jacque Vaughn, maxing out at 30 minutes against the Mavericks as the starting small forward. Interim head coach James Borrego limited him to 23 minutes against the Lakers, more than starting power forward Channing Frye. With Borrego's commitment to defense, Gordon will be an interesting player to watch post-All-Star break, especially with his improved three-point shooting.

Gordon (foot) came off the bench Friday and scored seven points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and added two rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes against the Lakers.
Despite coming off the bench, Gordon played more minutes than starter Channing Frye. Gordon and Frye put up nearly identical box scores Friday. Even if Gordon earns a larger role in the rotation, his skill set is such that he is unlikely to have much value outside of deeper leagues.
Fri Feb 6 201510:38Aaron Gordon: (Foot) Will Be Available Friday
Gordon (foot) will be available to play Friday against the Lakers, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Gordon's left foot -- which he had previously broken in November -- had experienced soreness earlier in the week, resulting in him missing Wednesday's game against the Spurs. The rookie had been seeing around 20 minutes per night since moving into the starting lineup in the final week of January, but hasn't delivered much as of yet, turning in highs of only 11 points and eight rebounds over his last five games. He could see his minutes reduced in his return to action Friday, but once he's further removed from the foot soreness, expect the rookie's playing time to pick back up.
Wed Feb 4 201519:08Aaron Gordon: (Foot) Out Wednesday
Gordon will not play Wednesday because he is dealing with soreness in his surgically repaired foot, Magic.com's John Denton reports.
It's not clear who will get the start with Gordon out, but Evan Fournier, Channing Frye and Kyle O'Quinn should all see slightly more playing time Wednesday. Consider Gordon day-to-day with the soreness in his foot.

Gordon started at small forward Saturday in the loss to Dallas and provided 11 points (3-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with five rebounds. He played a season-high 30 minutes.
Harris is mainly a multi-position defender, but doesn't put up many defensive fantasy stats. His ability to his 3-pointers is a nice sign, but it doesn't look he will be a significant fantasy contributor in his rookie season.

Gordon was moved into the starting lineup at small forward Sunday and put up nine points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, and one block in 21 minutes.
Gordon's per-36-minutes averages this season are 14.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.9 steals, 1.6 blocks, and 0.9 three-pointers on 61 percent shooting from the field and 61 percent shooting from the line. Though the Magic may continue to limit his minutes for the short-term while Gordon continues to work his way back into shape following foot surgery, the Magic have shown that they're anxious to get him playing time this season. Gordon should be on all watch lists, and players in deeper 14-team leagues are going to have to keep a close eye on his production. Gordon's production shows a lot of promise for his fantasy value once he starts playing at least 28 minutes per game.
Sun Jan 25 201516:31Aaron Gordon: Will Start Sunday
Gordon will start against the Pacers on Sunday, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
There was once an issue with Gordon's conditioning but coach Jacque Vaughn apparently seems comfortable with his current shape. The rookie will likely retain a spot in the starting lineup moving forward while Devyn Marble moves to the bench.

Gordon will have his playing time limited by coach Vaughn until he works his way into playing shape, John Denton of NBA.com reports.
Gordon was averaging 15.0 minutes per game prior to the foot surgery and played 12 minutes Sunday in his return. With Tobias Harris (ankle) set to make his return, minutes will come at a premium for the time being.

Gordon made his return to the court Sunday, putting up eight points, three rebounds, and one assist in 12 minutes off the bench.
Gordon should be owned in most deep-roster dynasty leagues, and he should be on all watch lists in every league. While the Magic have a decent amount of depth at small forward and power forward, they used a fourth-overall pick on Gordon. They're going to want to see him play a lot down the stretch as long as he's healthy. Don't be surprised if he plays limited minutes for a week or two while the team lets him get up to speed after sitting out since Nov. 17 with a broken foot. If Gordon gets enough minutes this season, he could be of use in points, rebounds, blocks, and three-pointers.
Sun Jan 18 201516:23Gordon (foot) activated to play Sunday
Gordon (foot) has been activated to play Sunday, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
After missing the past two months with a foot injury, it looks like the talented rookie from Arizona is finally ready to get back on the court. Even though he's activated it does not guarantee that Gordon will get on the court, and if he does it likely will not be for much playing time. Before he got hurt, Gordon averaged 15 minutes per game, so even when he returns to form, Gordon may not be useful in standard leagues.
