Crowder (left ACL sprain) participated in full workouts this last week, the Boston Globe reports.
Crowder sprained his left ACL in the Celtics' final game of the playoffs. He was struck in the face with a backhand from J.R. Smith, and as Crowder fell to the floor, his leg buckled underneath him and twisted, causing the sprain. Given that he's had the better part of four months to recover already, there's seemingly little reason to worry about the injury being an issue this coming season. Crowder's biggest hurdle to significant fantasy value will be finding enough minutes from night to night. With the Celtics having Evan Turner, Jonas Jerebko, and Perry Jones in line to get minutes at small forward, Crowder will have to earn every minutes he gets, and no matter how hard he tries, coach Brad Stevens may simply prefer to run a deeper rotation that limits all the Celtics' minutes, limiting their fantasy value in kind.
Mon Jul 27 201515:53Jae Crowder: (Knee) Feels 100 Percent
Crowder believes his knee is 100 percent but is still undergoing precautionary rehabilitation training, Scott Souza of Metro West Daily News reports.
Crowder was diagnosed with a left ACL sprain at the onset of the offseason but apparently has recovered over the previous months and should be available for a full workload when training camps begin in late September. He came on strong towards the end of last season which ultimately earned him a five-year deal with the Celtics while he continued to rehab his knee. The small forward saw several opportunities as a starter but will likely compete with Evan Turner for that position before the season starts anew.
Thu Jul 2 201500:00Crowder agreed to five-year deal with Celtics
Crowder agreed to a five-year deal with the Celtics, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Crowder suffered an ACL sprain late in the season. He averaged 7.7 points, 1.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 20 minutes per game between the Mavericks and Celtics during the 2014-15 season.

Crowder (knee) officially received a qualifying offer from the Celtics on Monday, Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald reports.
As expected, Crowder will be a restricted free agent this summer, enabling Boston the opportunity to match any offer he may receive from another franchise. The Celtics are likely to retain Crowder, barring another team extending him an unexpectedly lucrative offer.

Crowder (knee) will receive a qualifying offer from the Celtics this summer, per president of basketball operations Danny Ainge, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.
As expected, Crowder will get a $1.18 million qualifying offer, making him a restricted free agent this offseason. The move will allow Boston to match any offer for Crowder, who had a breakout second half to the season after coming over from Dallas in the Rajon Rondo deal. Over the final 20 games of the season, Crowder averaged 11.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 27.1 minutes while serving as one of the team's best defenders off the bench.

Crowder (knee) is expected to be extended a $1.1 million qualifying offer from the Celtics this offseason, the Boston Globe reports.
The move would almost be a formality after Crowder played a major role in the Celtics' late-season surge into the Eastern Conference playoff picture. The Marquette product can defend multiple positions, and he's reliable enough in catch-and-shoot situations to space the floor. It's likely that Crowder will draw some interest from other teams this summer, but Boston is likely to match any reasonable offer.
Mon Apr 27 201512:04Crowder (knee) diagnosed with left ACL sprain
Crowder (knee) has been diagnosed with a left ACL sprain.
Crowder's knee injury could be worse, as rest and rehab will be his path to recovery rather than surgery. He enters the offseason as a restricted free agent as well, and his stock shouldn't take as much of a hit with the minor injury as a torn ACL would have. The 24-year-old averaged 7.7 points, 1.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 20 minutes between his two clubs this season, but saw most of his action with the Celtics following a trade from the Mavs, averaging 24 minutes, 9.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists with his new club.

Crowder ended the 2014/15 season getting the most out of his opportunity with the Celtics. He now enters restricted free agency.
Crowder started the year buried in the Mavericks' depth chart, but was traded in late December to the Celtics, where his versatility and high-energy were more appreciated. Crowder started 17 of 57 games for the Celtics, averaging 24 minutes, 9.5 points, 0.8 made threes, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game for Boston. He was also a key cog in their admirable challenge to the Cavaliers in Round 1 of the playoffs. His immediate concern is the knee injury he suffered in Game 4 versus Cleveland. Long-term, he enters the off-season as a new Boston fan favorite and a restricted free agent. Should he return to Boston, he could be a sneaky fantasy source for low-cost steals and threes.

Crowder will get an MRI on his leg Sunday after prematurely exiting Game 4 against the Cavaliers, Jay King of MassLive.com reports.
Crowder sprained his knee Sunday but the Celtics are fearful that he may have also suffered damage lower in his leg as well. Now that the Celtics have been bounced from the playoffs Crowder will be able to fully focus on recovering from the beating he took in Game 4, although the exact severity of his injury won't be known until the MRI results are unveiled.
Sun Apr 26 201514:50Jae Crowder: Exits Game 4 With Sprained Knee
Crowder will not return to Game 4 against the Cavaliers on Sunday after spraining his knee in the third quarter, Jay King of MassLive.com reports.
Crowder took quite the beating from the Cavaliers on Sunday but most notably sprained his knee, not to mention significant blows to the head area from both Kendrick Perkins and J.R. Smith. The small forward should be considered day-to-day moving forward but it may not ultimately matter as the Celtics could suffer the dreaded sweep by the end of Sunday.
Sat Apr 25 201514:11Jae Crowder: Starting Sunday
Crowder said after Saturday's practice that he's starting Sunday versus the Cavaliers, MassLive.com reports.
Crowder has been contained to bench duty during the first three games against Cleveland, but with the Celtics facing elimination from the postseason, he'll likely be entrusted with containing LeBron James from the get-go. Entering Sunday's game, Crowder is averaging 12 points (on 52 percent shooting), 5.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.0 block, and 1.0 three-pointer in 28 minutes for the series.

Crowder put up 16 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks in 31 minutes in the loss to Cleveland on Thursday.
Crowder had one of his better games in a Celtic uniform and hounded LeBron James from time to time. That didn't stop James from having a big game, but the effort was noted. He has scored in double digits in all three games.

Crowder had a solid all-around outing in Tuesday's Game 2 loss to Cleveland. In 30 minutes off the bench, Crowder had 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, and a steal while committing one turnover.
Crowder has posted nearly identical stat lines in his first two games this postseason with 10 points, five boards, and a steal in each outing. He saw a slight uptick in minutes Tuesday, logging 30 minutes after getting 23 minutes of run in Game 1. Crowder rarely lights up the scoreboard but is able to make solid contributions in other categories.
Wed Apr 15 201520:20Jae Crowder: (Ankle) Resting Wednesday
Crowder is taking a seat Wednesday at Milwaukee due to a sore right ankle.
With the Celtics locked into a spot in the playoffs, Crowder will rest up, leaving small forward to Luigi Datome on Wednesday. Expect Crowder to return to the lineup for the Celtics' postseason opener Saturday or Sunday.

Crowder (ankle) scored 17 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-9 FT) with six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 30 minutes off the bench Wednesday.
His ankle didn't seem to bother him, and Crowder should remain a key cog in the Celtics' lineup as they push towards the postseason.

Crowder (ankle) said his ankle feels better than it did earlier in the week, A. Sherrod Blakely of CSN reports.
Crowder sprained his ankle Friday and took the court Saturday against Toronto, though he admitted Wednesday that he probably should have held himself out. "I felt like I had [to play]," Crowder said. The Celtics stated earlier in the week that Crowder is expected to return Wednesday, and it looks like that is going to be the case, barring a setback in shootaround or pregame warmups.
Mon Apr 6 201512:57Crowder (ankle) won't practice Monday
Crowder (ankle) won't practice Monday, but coach Brad Stevens believes that he'll "without a doubt" suit up Wednesday at Detroit, MassLive.com reports.
After suffering an ankle sprain Friday, Crowder still took the court Saturday at Toronto, posting three points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, and one block in 30 minutes. While he provides production across the board, he doesn't contribute enough in one specific category to make a difference at this late stage of the fantasy season.

Crowder suffered a sprained ankle Friday against the Bucks but will nonetheless suit up Saturday in Toronto, the Boston Globe reports.
Crowder picked up just 19 minutes Friday, marking the first time since Mar. 3 that he failed to earn more than 20 minutes. While his workload could be somewhat curbed Saturday, he's still averaging 12 points (on 40 percent shooting), six rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 three-pointers, and 0.9 steals in 28 minutes since the break.
