Mahinmi (foot) will miss six-to-eight weeks with a torn left plantar fascia.
Mahinmi left Friday's game with what was diagnosed as a sore left foot, but now has been revealed that something much more severe occurred. His injury could open up extra minutes for a combination of Luis Scola, Shayne Whittington, Damjan Rudez and possibly Roy Hibbert as well depending on how the rotation changes.

Mahinmi left Friday's game with a sore left foot and will not return, the Sacramento Bee's Jason Jones reports.
As the Pacers' backup center, Mahinmi carries very little fantasy value, but his absence could mean slightly more playing time for starter Roy Hibbert. Consider Mahinmi day-to-day.

Mahinmi took advantage of extra playing time due to Roy Hibbert's (ankle) injury and provided 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, and three blocks in 26 minutes in the loss to the Suns on Saturday.
Mahinmi has been fairly productive in limited minutes. He could be a nice source of boards if Hibbert's injury causes him to miss games.

Mahinmi came off the bench Friday to contribute seven points (3-3 FG, 1-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, and one block in 23 minutes against the Nuggets.
This was easily the best game of the season for Mahinmi. With that in mind, Friday's performance is on the high end for what to expect from the 28-year-old on any given night.

Mahinmi took a shot to the head during Wednesday's preseason game and following it, experienced some numbness in his arm, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports.
Mahinmi has been dealing with a shoulder injury the past few weeks, but played a combined 32 minutes in the last two preseason games prior to Wednesday. Mahinmi should be close, if not already, recovered from his shoulder injury and he made it clear that the numbness in his arm during Wednesday's game had nothing to do with the shoulder. Mahinmi claims the shot to the head was also nothing serious, so there's a good chance he'll be back on the court and healthy in the Pacers next game Saturday.

Mahinmi (shoulder) is questionable to play in Tuesday's preseason opener against the Timberwolves, Conrad Brunner of 1070 The Fan in Indianapolis reports.
Mahinmi is still recovering from a shoulder injury suffered late in the summer, but he appears to be ahead of schedule, as he was initially expected to avoid contact drills for the first week or two of camp. While he's been limited, the fact that he could play Tuesday, in what is ultimately a meaningless game, indicates he's nearing 100 percent.

Mahinmi (shoulder) won't see contact during training camp for "the first week or two," Scott Agness of Pacers.com reports.
Mahinmi suffered a shoulder injury during the offseason, which kept him out of the FIBA World Cup and will limit him during the early parts of camp. While he's on the shelf, look for Shayne Whittington and Luis Scola to see extra work with starter Roy Hibbert in practice. Mahinmi still projects to be Hibbert's primary backup in the 2014-15 season.
Thu Sep 25 201413:34Mahinmi (shoulder) expected to miss start of training camp
Mahinmi (shoulder) is expected to miss the start of training camp, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Mahinmi dislocated his shoulder in August and was unable to participate for the French team in the FIBA World Cup. He'll likely miss the first few weeks of camp but should recover in time for the regular season, which begins in late October. Mahinmi will again serve as Roy Hibbert's primary backup this season and will have a chance to earn increased minutes if Hibbert's playoff struggles resurface.

Mahinmi injured his shoulder and won't be able to play for Team France in the FIBA World Cup, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Early reports suggest that Mahinmi may be out for the next 2-3 months with a dislocated shoulder. While that's not official, it's concerning that he might not be able to suit up for the Pacers at the start of the season. The Frenchman will likely backup Roy Hibbert this season, but if he's unable to go, Luis Scola may see significant time off the bench in the frontcourt.
Thu Jul 24 201411:37Ian Mahinmi added to French World Cup Roste
Ian Mahinmi has been added to Team France's FIBA World Cup of Basketball roster.
With Alexis Ajinca and Kevin Seraphin both unavailable for the World Cup, Mahinmi will serve as Les Bleu's best option up front for August's World Cup in Spain. While Mahinmi will get plenty of run for France in the World Cup, the 27-year-old doesn't hold much fantasy value heading into the 2014-15 season as he won't see much more playing time than the 12.7 minutes he averaged in 2013-14.

Wed Apr 16 201417:54Ian Mahinmi will not play on Wednesday
Ian Mahinmi will rest on Wednesday night vs. the Magic.
He is healthy and did not aggravate his hip injury from March. Mahinmi sitting out means Lavoy Allen will get in the rotation tonight, but he's not much of a fantasy option.

Sun Apr 13 201416:12Ian Mahinmi scores 11 points in win
Ian Mahinmi picked up some extra playing time on Sunday vs. the Thunder, logging 21 minutes for 11 points, five boards, one assist and one block.
Roy Hibbert couldn't make his way up and down the floor and coach Frank Vogel decided to go with Mahinmi to help the flow of the game. Mahinmi might get another game with decent minutes, but his low usage rate doesn't make him a fantasy target.

Wed Apr 9 201417:11Ian Mahinmi will start vs. the Bucks
Ian Mahinmi will start at center against the Bucks on Wednesday.
The entire starting five is sitting tonight and the Pacers will likely back up Mahinmi with Lavoy Allen. Mahinmi's offensive game isn't exactly his strong suit, so he's unlikely to be involved the offense. In fact, even with the starters in the bench, Mahinmi's usage rate is very small at just 12.2 in his 128 minutes. He's not a fantasy option unless you're in dire straits for boards and blocks.

Fri Mar 14 201412:57Ian Mahinmi available, but unlikely to play
Ian Mahinmi (hip) will be available Friday but is not expected to be part of the rotation.
There's no reason for Mahinmi to risk an aggravation as the Pacers take on the D-League team known as the Sixers. Lavoy Allen will back up Roy Hibbert.

Thu Mar 13 201413:44Ian Mahinmi listed as GTD for Friday vs 76ers
Ian Mahinmi (hip) is listed as a game-time decision for Friday's game against Philadelphia.
With Andrew Bynum ruled out for Friday, Mahinmi has an opening to pick up some minutes against the Sixers if he is able to play, but Bynum will play Saturday against the Pistons so this could get interesting if Mahinmi is healthy for this weekend. Mahinmi could be in line for 15 minutes of action on Friday if he's able to suit up, but both he and Bynum will eat into each other's value while healthy so fantasy owners in standard leagues should be looking elsewhere.

Wed Mar 12 201415:50Ian Mahinmi (ribs) still hurt, not practicing
Ian Mahinmi (ribs) did not practice with the team on Wednesday.
He's day-to-day and the Pacers have brought along Andrew Bynum a little quicker than expected because of it. Mahinmi hasn't really played poorly and has been a solid backup to Roy Hibbert, but he might lose minutes should Andrew Bynum get better.

Mon Mar 10 201414:44Ian Mahinmi (hip) is listed as day-to-day
Ian Mahinmi (bruised left hip) is listed as day-to-day by the team.
His minutes have dropped quite a bit lately and played just 11 on Sunday. Mahinmi may have suffered the injury in that game against the Mavs and the severity is not known. He is questionable for Tuesday vs. the Celtics.

Tue Mar 4 201411:12Ian Mahinmi expected to play Tuesday vs GSW
Ian Mahinmi (hip) is expected to play against the Warriors on Tuesday.
Mahinmi fell hard on his hip during Sunday's win over Utah, but was still able to stay in the game. With Roy Hibbert slumping towards the finish line, Mahinmi has stepped up his game as of late, but we'll still need to see more playing time out of the six-year veteran before recommending him in anything more than the deepest of leagues.
