Sun Mar 2 201420:59Ian Mahinmi logs 25 minutes w/ Hibbert quiet
Ian Mahinmi took a hard fall on his left hip on Sunday but he never left the game, taking advantage of Roy Hibbert's struggles to score nine points with seven rebounds and three blocks in 25 minutes.
He limped to the bench under his own power, but he landed very hard and it wouldn't be surprising to see him listed as questionable for Tuesday's game. The 25 minutes marked a season-high for Mahinmi, so even if he's fully healthy we're not expecting a repeat performance.

Wed Nov 6 201321:07Ian Mahinmi suffers an ankle sprain
Ian Mahinmi suffered a left ankle sprain on Wednesday and is questionable to return.
Roy Hibbert is playing very well and should be able to take on a few extra minutes. The Pacers also play Luis Scola at center, so they shouldn't miss Mahinmi too much.

Tue Apr 30 201310:06Ian Mahnimi reassumes backup center duties
Ian Mahinmi has reassumed backup center duties, replacing Jeff Pendergraph.
Pendergraph had temporarily taken over, but Mahinmi is back in the rotation because of his defense. This is extremely unlikely to impact your fantasy roster or playoff league regardless of how far Indiana advances.

Thu Apr 25 201309:09Ian Mahinmi behind Pendergraph in rotation
Ian Mahinmi is now behind Jeff Pendergraph in the rotation.
"Ian has struggled a bit with his shooting and turnovers," Frank Vogel said. Meanwhile, Pendergraph's energy off the bench has been contagious, and it doesn't look like Mahinmi will get to back up Roy Hibbert at any point soon with the Pacers up 2-0 in their series.

Ian Mahinmi has a stomach bug and was held out of practice Thursday.
Mahinmi is expected to be alright in time for Friday's game against Brooklyn. As Roy Hibbert's backup, Mahinmi has very minimal fantasy value so this news is more of an FYI than anything else.

Sun Mar 10 201312:01Ian Mahinmi (knee) ready to play vs. Heat
Ian Mahinmi's sore knee is "fine" and he is available to play vs. Miami on Sunday.
The Heat roll out plenty of small lineups, so Mahinmi may not have a big role, but at least he's healthy enough to play. Indiana's backup center is quietly averaging 5.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.9 blocks this season.

Sat Mar 9 201316:02Ian Mahinmi dealing with a knee injury
Ian Mahinmi is listed as day-to-day with a sore right knee.
He played 14 minutes on Friday, which is just a hair below his season of average 16.9 minutes per game. He only scored seven points even when Roy Hibbert was suspended last week, so he's not on the radar in any league.

Thu Feb 28 201318:01Ian Mahinmi will start for suspended Hibbert
Ian Mahinmi will start in place of the suspended Roy Hibbert against the Clippers on Thursday.
Mahinmi is a decent fill-in for the Pacers, but he's only worth a spot start in deeper leagues. Jeff Pendergraph will also see time off the bench. Hibbert will return from his suspension Friday in Toronto.

Ian Mahinmi (illness) practiced with the team on Sunday.
He left Friday's game with a stomach problem and all signs point to him being ready to go against the Grizzlies. He won't have value in almost all fantasy leagues while Roy Hibbert is healthy.

Sat Jan 12 201321:38Ian Mahinmi excels in place of Hibbert (back)
Ian Mahinmi had five points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks off the bench on Saturday, while playing the entire fourth quarter in place of Roy Hibbert (back).
Hibbert's injury may have been the cause of his benching, but Mahinmi's play more than justified the decision. The Pacers allow an NBA-low 89.1 points per game and their unheralded backup center is a big reason why, since there's minimal dropoff when Hibbert leaves the floor. For now, however, he's only worth fantasy attention in very deep leagues.

Thu Jan 10 201323:22Mahinmi fills in nicely with 13 points
Ian Mahinmi filled in for the injured Roy Hibbert (back spasms) in Thursday's 81-76 win over the Knicks, scoring 13 points with six rebounds in 20 minutes.
Hibbert (four points, three rebounds and two blocks) could miss Saturday's game against the Bobcats because he had to exit the game twice on Thursday. Mahimni played well and even hit a pair of mid-range jumpers and shot 6-of-7 from the field on the win. He could be useful in deeper leagues, but his tendencies to foul make him someone that should only be added speculatively in very deep leagues.
