Unless he can earn relevant minutes in the rotation during training camp, McGee will likely remain very limited in his potential fantasy impact.

McGee will not sign with the Celtics, Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald reports.

McGee was thought to be very close to joining the Celtics, but the two sides apparently could not agree on a contract for next season, so McGee is now back on the open market. He'll likely draw some additional interest and could sign with another team in short order.

McGee has already appeared in 23 games this season for the Nuggets and Clippers, posting averages of 4.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game -- both of which represent career-lows at the moment. If the proposed deal stands, McGee will help bolster a banged up frontcourt that has already lost Jared Sullinger (foot) for the season. Per Goodman's report, the offer would keep the 27-year-old under contract through the 2015-16 season.
