Sat Apr 13 201321:54Jordan Crawford stays hot in win vs. Orlando
Jordan Crawford took advantage of Jason Terry's suspension on Saturday, scoring 16 points with two 3-pointers, three rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.
Crawford hit 7-of-10 field goals, a rare burst of efficiency which was kindly allowed by Orlando's defense. This makes two solid games in a row for J-Craw, and he should continue to log 25+ minutes with Jason Terry iffy to return during the regular season.

Fri Apr 12 201322:41Crawford gets loose with the veterans out
Jordan Crawford started with the Celtics resting players on Friday, and scored 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes.
There isn't any doubt about Crawford's ability to put up numbers when on the floor, but gauging his value will be difficult with Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett likely to bounce in and out of the lineup. He's worth a look without a doubt, but to some degree owners are rolling the dice here. Courtney Lee also benefited from the extra touches, scoring 18 points with two 3-pointers in the Celtics' loss.

Fri Apr 12 201319:16Crawford to start for the Celtics on Friday
Jordan Crawford will start in Friday's game against the Heat.
The Celtics rested Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, making Crawford a good fit for the first unit tonight. This type of an arrangement could continue or be an on-and-off sort of thing going forward, so keep a close eye on Crawford -- who can get hot real quick.

Fri Mar 29 201322:59Crawford goes quiet in poor showing vs. ATL
Jordan Crawford hit 2-of-8 shots (including a three) for five points to go with two rebounds and four assists in 21 minutes off the bench on Friday.
It's a step back for a guy that couldn't really afford to go backwards with fantasy owners. Unless you're in a very deep league, owners can watch that action from the wire.

Wed Mar 27 201323:32Jordan Crawford returns to bench
Jordan Crawford returned to the bench on Wednesday since Chris Wilcox got a rare start at center for the Celtics, and had 12 points and four assists on 5-of-8 shooting in 26 minutes.
Crawford stayed relevant in 26 minutes and we doubt Wilcox will become a fixture in the starting five. As long as Courtney Lee remains out with his ankle injury, Crawford is worth keeping a close eye on. Jason Terry was quiet with five points in 21 minutes, and just hasn't been able to get it going off the Boston bench this season.

Tue Mar 26 201322:15Jordan Crawford scores 14 in start for C's
Jordan Crawford started at shooting guard for the Celtics on Tuesday and had 14 points, four rebounds, six assists, a steal and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes, hitting 5-of-11 shots.
Courtney Lee was out with an ankle injury, but is leaning toward playing in the next one. And if that happens, Crawford's fantasy value will be much more volatile in a return to the bench. He's not a must-own player right now, but is probably worth holding until we see how things go once Lee is back.

Tue Mar 26 201318:21Jordan Crawford, not Jason Terry draws start
Jordan Crawford will start at shooting guard in Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
Courtney Lee (ankle) is out Tuesday and doubtful for Wednesday. We can safely pencil Crawford for 26-30 minutes in both games, which is plenty of time for him to get 12-18 shots up. If he can get hot, he'll be an asset for fantasy owners in the playoffs.

Sat Mar 23 201323:16Jordan Crawford scores 21 pts in failed rally
Jordan Crawford inspired a failed comeback vs. the Grizzlies on Saturday, scoring 21 points with five rebounds and three assists.
Crawford shot 5-of-13 from the field with two 3-pointers, but he also went 9-of-10 from the FT line. Courtney Lee is day-to-day with a sprained ankle and Doc Rivers basically had no choice but to play Crawford, so it's hard to read much into his 27 minutes of action. Proceed with caution.

Tue Mar 12 201322:39Jordan Crawford scores 14 in loss
Jordan Crawford hit 4-of-6 shots and a 3-pointer for 14 points and two assists in 28 minutes of Tuesday's blowout loss to Charlotte.
This was a classic "garbage time" performance and was his highest point total since way back on Jan. 25, when he scored 19. He hadn't played more than 17 minutes in his previous eight games, so don't be fooled by tonight's surprising line.

Tue Mar 5 201322:29Jordan Crawford scores 12 in 16 minutes
Jordan Crawford played just 12 minutes on Tuesday, but hit 4-of-7 shots and two 3-pointers for 12 points, four rebounds and three assists.
While his performance was admirable, the fact he only got 16 minutes is the real story. Courtney Lee missed the entire fourth quarter after suffering an eye injury, which further clouds Crawford's role with the team. He's worth monitoring, but unless he suddenly starts getting 25 minutes per game, has no fantasy value.

Fri Mar 1 201308:56Celtics want Jordan Crawford to be wild card
Doc Rivers wants Jordan Crawford to be a "wild card" for the Celtics.
"Jordan right now is consciously trying to be too good," said Rivers. "You see him trying to be a ball mover, and that's not what he's been and I don't want him to be that way that much. He's an aggressive scorer. But I like the way he's trying to fit in." The Celtics are hopeful that being around veterans will changes Crawford's attitude, which has got him traded twice already in his brief career.

Tue Feb 26 201300:18Jordan Crawford quiet in Monday's game
Jordan Crawford played just five minutes in Monday's overtime game against the Jazz.
Crawford scored two points on 1-of-2 shooting with two rebounds, and it's clear he'll have to wait his turn before he gets a chance to show his stuff. Owners can watch this action from the waiver wire in most formats.

Sat Feb 23 201302:01Jordan Crawford scores 10 in Boston debut
Jordan Crawford shot 4-of-9 from the field for 10 points with three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in his Boston debut against the Suns on Friday.
He got the benefit of garbage time in the win and the Suns didn't seem too interested in playing defense in a 113-88 loss in Phoenix. Crawford is going to have a tough time holding value with the depth of Boston's backcourt. Avery Bradley (13 points, four boards, two assists and four steals in 27 minutes), Courtney Lee (eight points, five boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes), Jason Terry (13 points, two boards, two assists and two 3-pointers in 20 minutes) and Crawford could cancel each other out in standard leagues.

Fri Feb 22 201312:00Jordan Crawford expected to play Friday
Jordan Crawford is expected to play on Friday against the Suns.
Crawford will be available right away for the Celtics, and it will certainly be interesting to see how he's utilized under Doc Rivers. For now, owners can monitor his use from the waiver wire.

Fri Feb 22 201308:59Rivers knows Jordan Crawford comes w/ concern
Doc Rivers admitted that he knows about the "other stuff" with Jordan Crawford following the Celtics acquisition of the shooting guard.
What Rivers was referencing was Crawford's well-chronicled antics. "I'm hoping, obviously, [with] our staff, and we have some veteran players around him, that he can grow," Rivers said. "I'm hoping that we don't have that issue here. Obviously, if we do, then it will be a problem." Crawford has already been traded by both the Hawks and Wizards in his brief NBA career, and the Wizards choice to move him for virtually nothing in return speaks volumes.

Thu Feb 21 201316:41Crawford likely to play off bench
ESPN Boston confirms that newly acquired SG Jordan Crawford will play a bench role for the Celtics.
As we previously noted, Crawford is a low-percentage volume shooter that fits best with a second unit. Beat writer Chris Forsberg projects roughly 20 minutes per night for the man that quickly fell out of favor in Washington. Unless Avery Bradley, Courtney Lee or Jason Terry go down, there's not a ton of fantasy upside in Crawford.

Thu Feb 21 201313:49Report: Jordan Crawford traded to Celtics
Jordan Crawford will be traded to the Celtics, according to David Aldridge.
The Celtics are looking for backcourt help with Leandro Barbosa (knee) now done for the season, so Crawford will bring exactly that. The sight of Kevin Garnett and Crawford in practice together will be something special, but it's uncertain how Crawford will fit into the Celtics rotation upon joining the team.

Thu Feb 21 201313:36Report: Mavs not interested in Crawford
The Mavericks are not interested in trading for Jordan Crawford, according to ESPN Dallas.
That would seemingly leave only the Celtics as the destination for Crawford if he winds up being moved. His fantasy value will depend on where he might land before Thursday's deadline, but if he remains with the Wizards, he should stick on the waive wire.

Thu Feb 21 201312:18Mavs, Wizards have talked Jordan Crawford
The Mavs have also engaged the Wizards in trade talks for Jordan Crawford.
Crawford is a solid candidate to be moved for the deadline, but it's unlikely to be a major deal. He's fallen out of favor in Washington and is currently in Randy Wittman's doghouse.

Thu Feb 21 201310:21Report: Celtics eyeing Jordan Crawford trade
The Celtics are reportedly eyeing Jordan Crawford in a trade with the Wizards, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.
Broussard reports Fab Melo is a player who could be headed back to Washington, and while Crawford is said to be available on the cheap, it's unclear if he'll be moved before the deadline.
