Brandon Moss hit his third grand slam of the year Thursday off the Astros' Anthony Bass.
Moss never had a slam in 41 at-bats with the bases loaded prior to this season. This year, he's 5-for-8 with 17 RBI in those situations. He has 23 homers and 71 RBI overall, putting him in the top 10 in the AL in both categories.

The Athletics received encouraging news on Sunday when the MRI results on the ankle of Brandon Moss revealed no structural damage.
Moss's ankle wasn't healing quite as quickly as the A's would've liked it do, so they ordered the MRI as a precautionary measure. They are unsure of his availability for Monday's game, but he should be able to return to the lineup early in the week.

Brandon Moss finished 4-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in the A's loss to the Tigers on Wednesday.
Moss slugged a solo shot in the top of the first inning and hit an RBI single in the top of the seventh, but the A's mustered only three runs on the day and were swept out of Detroit. Moss is batting .274/.358/.534 with 19 homers and 62 RBI in 81 games this year.

Brandon Moss tripled, doubled twice, walked twice and scored four runs as the A's topped the Indians 13-3 on Sunday.
Moss's good games are usually of the two-homer variety, not so much with the triples, doubles and walks. It's the second time in his career that he's reached base five times and also the second time he's scored four runs. He's currently hitting .301, a huge improvement over last year's .256 mark.

He finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored and five RBI. Moss feasts on right-handers with all kinds of stuff, so he had a sort of delicious buffet of Scott Carroll (RBI double!), Frank Francisco (two-run sixth inning homer!), and Matt Lindstrom (two-run eighth inning homer!) to enjoy tonight. This was his fifth career multi-homer game. Moss is slashing .286/.364/.526 with eight homers and 29 RBI (sixth in the AL).
