Bourn (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday.
The Indians have been noncommittal about Bourn's return date of late, but the beginning of an official rehab assignment indicates he is nearly ready to play again. It's not clear how many games Bourn will play before being activated from the disabled list, but he is on pace to return to the Indians later this week or sometime the following week.

Bourn (hamstring) ran the bases again Monday, which may precede a rehab assignment later this week, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Bourn (hamstring) ran the bases prior to Saturday's game and plans to do so again Monday, MLB.com reports. "He ran the bases real well, he's going to run the bases again Monday and we'll kind of go from there," manager Terry Francona said.
Bourn could conceivably head out on a rehab assignment at the end of the upcoming week if things progress well but you'll want to keep on your bench as any rehab assignment figures to last at least three games.

Bourn (hamstring) did some light running on the field before Thursday's game, but he still does not have a timetable to return, MLB.com reports.
Initially expected to miss three-to-four weeks, Bourn is nearing the four-week mark but doesn't seem to be all that close to making his return. His next step is to progress to running the bases, and he will almost certainly require a rehab assignment.

Bourn (hamstring) took batting practice Tuesday but it's still uncertain when he'll be cleared for a rehab assignment, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. "He's going to obviously add intensity as he continues to feel better. He will just continue to ramp up. And when he's ready to play, we'll send him out to play," manager Terry Francona said.
Bourn, who has been out since July 5, is nearing the end of the initial three-to-four week diagnosis but certainly doesn't seem like he'll return before then.
Tue Jul 29 201420:41Michael Bourn (hamstring) to up activity
Michael Bourn (hamstring) will increase his rehab workload over the next week.
Bourn has been sidelined since July 5 with a left hamstring strain but only recently was allowed to ride a stationary bike. The Indians are taking it slowly with him, as there remains no timetable for his return. "I've kind of on purpose not gone in to push him," manager Terry Francona said. "He's going to obviously add intensity as he continues to feel better. ... He will just continue to ramp up. And when he's ready to play, we'll send him out to play."

Fri Jul 25 201409:19No timetable for Michael Bourn (hamstring)
Indians manager Terry Francona said Thursday that there remains no timetable for Michael Bourn's (hamstring) return.
"When he's ready to play, he's ready to play," Francona said. Bourn played catch in the outfield on Thursday but has yet to test out his strained left hamstring with any running. He's already missed nearly three weeks, so it sounds like he'll be lucky to make it back within the projected 3-4 week timetable that was offered when he went down.

Thu Jun 26 201400:48Bourn goes 3-for-4 with 2 triples, 2 runs
Michael Bourn went 3-for-4 with a pair of triples, a walk and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over Arizona.
Bourn came around to score the first and third runs of the 6-1 triumph. The veteran outfielder is enjoying a five-game hitting streak and has hit safely in seven of eight. Bourn is batting only .271 with a disappointing six steals in 58 games, but his bat has shown signs of life recently. More time on base will obviously lead to more steals; the wheels are still there as evidence by Bourn ranking fourth in the majors with seven triples.

Mon Jun 2 201421:48Michael Bourn reaches three times in win
Michael Bourn followed up Sunday's walkoff homer by going 2-for-3 with a triple, a walk, a steal and two runs scored on Monday.
That's good news. In the past, Bourn has occasionally followed up his homers by trying to yank every pitch out of the part for a week or two. Maybe he's outgrown that tendency, though. He's hitting .294 this year, though without the steals (just five in 38 games) to give him oodles of fantasy value.

Sun May 18 201416:55Michael Bourn hits first home run
Michael Bourn hit his first homer of the year and walked twice Sunday against the A's.
We're more impressed by the two walks; he entered the day with just four in 100 at-bats, leaving him with a poor .276 OBP. The Indians need more from him in order to set up the rest of their lineup.

Tue May 13 201421:50Bourn logs two hits but Indians fall to Jays

Bourn has been slow since coming off of the disabled list in mid-April, currently the owner of a meager .256/.287/.354 slash line. He has stolen only two bases in five attempts as well.
