Thu Mar 9 202323:37Jalen Brunson Won't Return On Thursday
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (foot) won't return to Thursday's meeting with the Sacramento Kings. The 26-year-old logged 19 minutes in this one, all in the first half, scoring 19 points. However, he experienced pain in his left foot, the same issue that caused him to miss the last two games. New York will play the Lakers on Saturday. But with the Knicks looking to make a deep postseason push, Brunson could miss more time moving ahead. If that's the case, Immanuel Quickley should return to the starting lineup. Quickley has averaged nearly 19 points in 12 starts this season, so he warrants attention from those in need of a replacement.

Thu Mar 9 202321:26Jalen Brunson Will Play On Thursday
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (foot) is officially available for Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings. That is great news after Brunson missed the last two games due to left foot soreness. He should immediately resume his role in the starting five, which will shift Immanuel Quickley to the bench. Quickley should still have value as the sixth-man, but won't be nearly as productive as he was when Brunson was out. Fantasy managers should double check their lineups and make sure Brunson is in there.

Wed Mar 8 202321:36Jalen Brunson Listed As Questionable For Thursday
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (foot) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings. He has missed each of the last two games due to left foot soreness. Brunson was considered questionable for both those contests before ultimately being ruled out. In his absence, Immanuel Quickley has been asked to step up and move into the starting five. He was already someone who should be rostered before Brunson's injury, but now Quickley is a must-have player in most formats.

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (foot) will miss Tuesday's game versus the Charlotte Hornets. Brunson will miss his second straight game as he deals with soreness in his left foot, but the Knicks are optimistic with his recovery. Brunson will be joining the upcoming road trip and should be nearing a return. In the meantime, Immanuel Quickley should continue to start in Brunson's absence and is an excellent fantasy option when given opportunity.

Mon Mar 6 202322:04Jalen Brunson Officially Questionable Versus Charlotte
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (foot) is questionable to play versus the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday. Brunson missed Sunday's game and watched Immanuel Quickley have a career night with 38 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, five threes, four steals and two blocks in 55 minutes. Quickley's numbers were inflated due to the double overtime game, but should be on rosters as long as Brunson is hobbled.

Fri Feb 10 202313:152023 NBA Trade Deadline Breakdown - Fantasy Basketball Impacts
The NBA trade deadline has officially come and gone and we had one of the most active deadlines in recent memory with some big stars being dealt. Kyrie, KD, and Westbrook are all heading to new teams and we have been covering those trades and their fantasy impacts here at RotoBaller. But there were plenty of other lesser-known players who were dealt in the last few days and I wanted to go through and make sure we don't overlook some of these trades as some of those deals may even have more fantasy impact than the big moves. So here are some other trades that went down and my two cents on the increase or decrease in value that we should expect from the players involved for the remainder of the 2022-2023 fantasy basketball season.

Moves That Matter

These are very much in order of how much they matter. Let's start with the Spurs sending their starting center back up North where he started his career.Jakob Poeltl to the RaptorsI am a huge Poeltl fan and was close to acquiring him on multiple teams before the deadline. It was a curious move by Toronto to be buyers instead of sellers at the deadline, but Poeltl gives them the presence at the five they have been lacking all season and allows Siakam to shift over and play PF where he belongs.Poeltl is no longer a shutdown candidate and has legit top-50 upside with his multi-category abilities. His departure also makes ... [More]

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson scored a game-high 41 points on 14-for-19 shooting in Saturday's 134-128 overtime loss to the Clippers. He was back in the lineup after missing Thursday's battle against the Heat and Brunson started slowly by scoring only seven points in the first quarter, but he soon regained his rhythm and ended up with his second-best scoring night of the season. He was 5-for-7 from downtown and also did outstanding work as a playmaker, delivering seven assists with only one turnover in 38 minutes. Brunson also added five rebounds to his tally. The 26-year-old averaged 28.7 points for January with 4.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists, and it looks like he has no plans to slow down this month either.

Fri Feb 3 202323:24Jalen Brunson May Not Suit Up On Saturday
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (illness) is questionable for Saturday's contest against the Los Angeles Clippers. Brunson has battled a non-COVID-illness of late, recently keeping him out of the lineup for Thursday's meeting with the Miami Heat. Immanuel Quickley took his spot in the rotation for that one and finished with eight points, six rebounds, and four assists in 37 minutes of work. If Brunson doesn't suit up versus Los Angeles, Quickley should remain with the first five while seeing more attention from fantasy managers and DFS participants.

Fri Feb 3 202316:46Jalen Brunson Tagged As Questionable With Illness
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (illness) was forced to miss Thursday's game due to a non-COVID illness and it looks as though he hasn't fully shaken it just yet. The team listed him as questionable and he'll likely be a game time decision for Saturday's contest against the Los Angeles Clippers. Immanuel Quickley would be the safest streaming option if Brunson can't suit up while Evan Fournier or Miles McBride would be riskier options in deeper leagues.

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (illness) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Miami Heat. The 26-year-old will sit this game out due to a non-COVID related illness. Wed Feb 1 202310:03Jalen Brunson Drops Game-High 37 Points
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson has continued his hot streak since returning from an injury on January 2. The fifth-year guard finished the game on Tuesday with 37 points, two rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block while shooting 13-for-29 from the floor, 2-for-7 from deep, and 9-for-9 from the line. Brunson has been pouring in buckets this season but it doesn't always equate to wins as the Knicks still try to figure out their best lineups. Fantasy-wise, Brunson has out-produced his ADP and has entered the top 50 in fantasy value for category leagues.
