Quickley has averaged nearly 19 points in 12 starts this season, so he warrants attention from those in need of a replacement.

The NBA trade deadline has officially come and gone and we had one of the most active deadlines in recent memory with some big stars being dealt. These are very much in order of how much they matter. He was back in the lineup after missing Thursday's battle against the Heat and Brunson started slowly by scoring only seven points in the first quarter, but he soon regained his rhythm and ended up with his second-best scoring night of the season. He was 5-for-7 from downtown and also did outstanding work as a playmaker, delivering seven assists with only one turnover in 38 minutes. Brunson also added five rebounds to his tally. The 26-year-old averaged 28.7 points for January with 4.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists, and it looks like he has no plans to slow down this month either.

He has been on fire ever since the calendar was turned, and even the presence of Julius Randle and RJ Barrett doesn't seem to bother Brunson. They combined for 40 points Friday. Brunson is perfectly set up to continue his scoring tear Sunday against the Pistons, who are allowing the fourth-most points in the league to opposing point guards this season.

Over the last five games, Brunson has averaged 33.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game on 52.6% shooting from the floor and 50% from three.

Julius Randle added 25 points and Immanuel Quickley tallied 23 points, but the Knicks still somehow took a 111-107 home loss. Brunson finished with 15-for-30 shooting from the field and had a perfect 10-for-10 record at the line. He hit four three-point bombs with 10 attempts and recorded seven rebounds and four assists in 39 minutes. The former Dallas man is having a very good debut campaign in the Big Apple, but Brunson has done particularly well since the calendar was flipped, averaging 33.0 points per game with 5.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists. He will get a pair of very good matchups this week to continue his tear, as Indiana and Detroit are both teams that struggle on the defensive end.

The 26-year-old finished the game with 38 points which is just three points shy of his career-high that he posted in the playoffs last season. He also added seven rebounds and six assists while shooting 17-for-27 from the floor and 3-for-7 from deep. After missing three games, Brunson has scored 24 and 38 in the two games since returning.

Rose would be the only one to not be considered a streaming option if Brunson misses more time.
