Prado (hamstring) will taking batting practice Wednesday, but will likely not be available as a pinch hitter, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Prado is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays due to a lingering hamstring injury, MLB.com's Bryan Hoch reports.
Prado was able to play Sunday after sitting out the previous three games, but the Yankees believe he could aggravate the injury by playing, so they will hold him out of at least one more game.
Sat Sep 6 201413:03Martin Prado: (Hamstring) Back In Lineup
Prado (hamstring) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Royals.
After missing three straight games with a sore hamstring, Prado will bat third and play second base Saturday. He reported being pain-free on Friday, so we should see him back in the lineup on a semi-regular basis down the stretch.

Prado (hamstring) says he is pain-free in his hamstring that has sidelined him from three straight games, MLB.com reports.
Prado was available as a pinch-hitter Friday after going through his normal pregame routine without any setbacks, but wasn't used. He was able to take the field, play catch, and take batting practice without reporting any pain, so at this point a return to the lineup on Saturday seems likely.

Prado (hamstring) is out of the Yankees' lineup again Friday but manager Joe Girardi said he could pinch-hit, Sweeny Murti of Sportsradio 66 WFAN reports.
Ichiro Suzuki will draw another start in right field in place of Prado, who missed the final two games of the Red Sox series with a mild left hamstring strain. Prado has been receiving treatment and ran at about 50 percent Thursday, leading Girardi to deem him available off the bench for the opener against Kansas City. The skipper went on to reiterate that he's hopeful Prado can return to the lineup Saturday.

Prado (hamstring) remains out of the lineup Thursday against the Red Sox, Newsday's Erik Boland reports.
A mild left hamstring strain, suffered during Tuesday's game, will keep Prado out for the series finale against Boston. The 30-year-old has been receiving treatment and did report progress Wednesday, but Ichiro Suzuki will likely continue to hold down the fort in right until the training staff signs off on Prado's return.

Prado (hamstring) made some progress Wednesday but is still day-to-day, YES Network's Meredith Marakovits reports.
He had treatment and had no issues walking around Wednesday, and the plan is for him to do some baseball activity Thursday and the team will see how Prado's strained hamstring responds. It sounds like there's a chance we could see Prado back in the Yankees' lineup sooner than expected, but he may still miss a couple more games.

Prado has been diagnosed with a mild left hamstring strain and is hoping to return to the Yankees' lineup in a day or two, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
Prado incurred the injury in Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, when he went 2-for-3 with his 10th homer of the season. The Yankees will attempt to get by with Ichiro Suzuki as their primary right fielder until Prado is cleared for a return.

Prado felt something in his left hamstring and will see a doctor Tuesday night, the New York Daily News' Mark Feinsand reports.
It's not clear exactly when Prado suffered the injury, but he should be considered day-to-day until we learn more about his condition. After hitting just five home runs in 106 games with Arizona earlier this season, Prado has already hit four homers in just 28 games since joining the Yankees.

Prado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in the Yankees' 8-1 victory Monday night.

Prado enjoyed a productive night at the dish going 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in the Yankees' win over the White Sox on Friday night.
He started his outburst with a two-run home run, his eighth of the season, in the third inning and capped the night with a run scoring single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to give the Yankees a walk-off win.

Prado will start in right field and bat eighth for the Yankees on Saturday, Newsday's Erik Boland reports.
Coming off the bench in his Yankees debut Friday, Prado went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in a 4-3 loss to the Red Sox. He seems like the slight favorite for playing time in right field over Ichiro Suzuki, but the 30-year-old Prado has posted a .683 OPS to this point and could fall into a more even platoon split with the left-handed-swinging Suzuki.

Prado is not in the starting lineup Friday but will be available off the bench, MLB.com's Brian Hoch reports.
Prado is a versatile player, capable of playing in the infield as well as the outfield. He will likely become a platoon player in the corner outfield with Ichiro Suzuki, but could also see some starts at third base and second base as well. For Friday, he will be available as a pinch hitter and defensive replacement for the Yankees should they choose to use him.
Thu Jul 31 201416:24Martin Prado: Traded To The Yankees
The Diamondbacks traded Prado to the Yankees on Thursday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.
Through 106 games this season, Prado's OPS sits at .686, but he's a .290/.340/.425 career hitter and will provide the Yankees with some added defensive versatility. His role will likely be reduced with his new club, but Prado can chip in at third and in the corner outfield, and he could end up platooning with fellow deadline acquisition Stephen Drew at second base.
Sat Jul 26 201423:35Prado drives in five runs, D'Backs beat Phils
Martin Prado drove in five runs Saturday as the Diamondbacks beat the Phillies 10-6 in extra innings.
Prado had a massive night, drawing a walk in the first inning, slugging a solo homer in the third inning, smacking an RBI single in the fourth inning, and adding a two-run double in the sixth. He then hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th inning before Nick Evans slugged a three-run shot. Prado is batting just .280/.325/.383 in 102 total games this season, but he's capable of finishing on a high note.

Sun Jul 13 201421:51Prado has three hits, RBI in loss to Giants
Martin Prado went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Giants.
Prado has hits in 11 of 12 July games to raise his line to .275/.321/.370. The run production hasn't followed, unfortunately -- he's scored four runs in July, and Sunday's RBI was just his second this month.

Martin Prado went 2-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 2-1 loss versus the Marlins.
He's now riding a seven-game hitting streak, though this was the first multi-hit varietal of the bunch. Prado is trying to close out the first half strong after struggling through a disappointing season. He's slashing .271/.318/.367 with four homers and 35 RBI.

Fri Jul 4 201416:42Blue Jays scouting Arizona's Prado, Hill
ESPN's Jim Bowden reports that the Blue Jays have scouted Martin Prado, Aaron Hill and Chase Headley "heavily."
We already knew about Headley, but the Blue Jays being connected to Hill and Prado is new. The Jays would like to add a bat at either third or second base, with the idea that Brett Lawrie would play the other position. Prado (.268/.313/.360), Hill (.248/.285/.368) and Headley (.202/.287/.318) are all having disappointing seasons. Headley will be a free agent after the season, while Prado and Hill are under contract through 2016.

Sun Jun 15 201400:52Martin Prado goes 3-for-4, homers
Martin Prado went 3-for-4 and hit his third homer Saturday against the Dodgers.
It's Prado's fourth three-hit game of the month, and he's hitting .358 in June, though that comes with just one walk and four RBI in 53 at-bats. He still figures to get better, but he's been a bust in fantasy leagues to date.
