Sandy Leon had to leave Monday's game with a right leg injury after a collision with the Padres' Chase Headley at home plate.

William Ladson of MLB.com reports that the Nationals will purchase the contract of Sandy Leon from Double-A Harrisburg to replace Wilson Ramos (knee) on the roster.
Leon isn't on the 40-man roster, but the Nats didn't have another option since Jhonatan Solano, who is on the 40-man, is on the DL at Triple-A Syracuse. The 23-year-old was named the best defensive catcher in the Carolina League during the 2011 season by Baseball America. His bat lags behind, but he is hitting .319/.356/.457 so far this year for Harrisburg. Leon will back up Jesus Flores.
