It's uncertain what kind of news will come from this check-up. Although, it doesn't sound like deGrom is going to take the mound anytime soon. Right now, it seems like a long shot that deGrom is able to give the Mets significant innings in September. Fantasy managers leaning on deGrom need to start looking for another option.

However, there is no timetable for his return, so fantasy managers will have to stay patient.
