Thu Nov 28 201300:08Rookie Tony Snell making noise for Bulls
Rookie Tony Snell had 13 points, two rebounds, three assists, two steals and three 3-pointers on 5-of-9 shooting in another start at shooting guard for the Bulls on Wednesday.
He played a career-high 37 minutes and should continue to start as long as Jimmy Butler is out with his foot injury, as long as he continues to play well for Tom Thibodeau. He's not a must-add player yet, but deep leaguers need to take notice, while he's also going to be a sneaky play in daily fantasy money leagues.

Tue Nov 26 201302:13Snell plays 26 minutes in start at SG
Tony Snell started at shooting guard for injured Jimmy Butler (foot) on Monday, scoring nine points on 3-of-7 shooting (including a three) with one rebound and no steals or blocks in 26 minutes.
Butler can't put weight on his foot right now and that means that Snell could be looking at this 20-25 minute role for the next few weeks, and if injury-prone Mike Dunleavy has anything happen to him then he could be a full-blown 35-minute guy. He should improve over tonight's result, but he could stand to struggle in general over the next month or so being thrown in the fire like this.

Mon Nov 25 201320:18Tony Snell is starting on Monday night
Tony Snell will start on Monday night with Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah against the Jazz.
The thinking seems to be not to completely gut the second unit. Kirk Hinrich has to play exclusively at point guard now, so Mike Dunleavy will do all the heavy lifting off the bench. Dunleavy should be able to come close to his 13.3 points per game and 2.0 triples per game that he put up in his three starts. Snell has some weak offense and hasn't been able to score efficiently in the regular season, preseason or at Las Vegas Summer League, so owners in very deep leagues should only be giving him a look.

Mon Nov 25 201318:51Tony Snell could start on Monday?
Tony Snell could start for the Bulls to allow Mike Dunleavy to come off the bench.
The Bulls need some help and it looks like they're going to let the rookie get some minutes. He is a plus perimeter defense with his length on the wing, but his offense has a long way to go. Snell is shooting just 33.3 percent from the field in his 5.4 minutes per game this season, shot 30.0 percent in the preseason and 36.7 percent in summer league. He's only worth a look for owners in very deep leagues for now. Mike Dunleavy owners shouldn't panic or anything yet.

Fri Sep 27 201314:25Rookie Tony Snell adds 18 pounds of muscle
Bulls rookie forward Tony Snell has added 18 pounds of muscle to his frame since draft day.
He'll just be trying to make the rotation, but putting in such hard offseason work can only work in his favor. Keep an eye on him in the preseason.

Tue Jul 16 201309:39Tony Snell working with Scottie Pippen
Tony Snell has been working with Scottie Pippen this offseason.
"He said he's going to help me out, help me work on my footwork," Snell said. "That would mean everything to me. I want to be a good player like him. If he shows me any pointers, we'll see what happens." He was the 20th pick in the draft and was considered a plus defender coming out of New Mexico. The 6'7" forward also hit 1.8 triples per game on 39 percent shooting while converting 84.3 percent of his attempts at the line, so he's no slouch on the offensive side either. That said, Snell will have a tough time getting consistent minutes in his first season.
