Snell earned a spot start Sunday with Mike Dunleavy (ankle) and Kirk Hinrich (toe) out. Snell put up eight points (3-9 FG, 2-7 3Pt), three rebounds, and two assists in 37 minutes against the Magic.
Snell has started eight games this season, averaging 6.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.6 steals in 27 minutes per game. Those numbers are not great, especially considering he played so many minutes. While his per-minute numbers aren't likely indicative of his true ceiling -- Jimmy Butler used to get the "you haven't earned the right to shoot" treatment from coach Tom Thibodeau, too -- Snell is currently only a 3-and-D specialist for the Bulls, limiting his value even in daily games where his salary is likely near the minimum.

Snell was announced as a starter moments before tipoff Sunday against the Magic.
Snell is the beneficiary of injuries to Mike Dunleavy (ankle) and Kirk Hinrich (toe). The second-year player will likely see an extended role on the court for as long as at least one of those players is confined to the bench.

Snell scored a season-high 19 points (7-10 FG, 5-6 3Pt) and grabbed five rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench Saturday night against the Pelicans.
Snell was recently replaced by Kirk Hinrich in the starting lineup. Hinrich left Saturday's game due to turf toe, inflating minute totals for everyone on the Bulls' bench. Considering Snell was shooting 30 percent from downtown and Mike Dunleavy (ankle) could return sometime after the All-Star break, don't expect a second-half resurgence from Snell.

Snell received a DNP-CD against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Snell has been in and out of the starting lineup this season, although Mike Dunleavy's impending return from a lingering ankle injury will likely demote Snell to the bench for the remainder of the season, assuming injuries don't plague the Bulls.

Snell will come off the bench Wednesday at Houston.
Snell will yield his spot in the starting five to Kirk Hinrich. In his last four games, Snell has failed to hit at a 50 percent clip on any occasion, during which he's averaged 6.8 points (on 34 percent shooting), 2.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.8 steals in 22 minutes.

Snell scored two points (1-2 FG) to go along with five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes Friday against the Suns.
Snell returned to the starting lineup Friday, but didn't produce much again. The Bulls have a lot of offensive weapons, so don't expect Snell to contribute much offensively even when he does start. When Mike Dunleavy (ankle) is finally able to return, expect Snell to return to a very limited role off of the bench.
Fri Jan 30 201521:50Snell will get start at small forward Friday
Snell will get the start at small forward Friday, the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro reports.
Nikola Mirotic got the start in the Bulls' previous game as the team still tries to make up for Mike Dunleavy being out. Snell typically sees between 20 and 25 minutes, regardless of his role, and offers middling scoring and three-point production.

Snell got the start again Sunday and he put up seven points, one assist, and one block in 22 minutes on the floor.
Snell has been in the starting lineup of late and has had moderate production. Over his last four games, Snell is averaging 10.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Kirk Hinrich saw more minutes than Snell on Sunday, but there's no indication that Snell's spot in the starting lineup is in jeopardy at this point.

Snell got the start Thursday and had 12 points (4-11 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes on the floor.
Snell could see more starts if he continues to play well and Kirk Hinrich continues to struggle. He isn't a great shooter but can help out with some rebounding.

Sat Jan 17 201504:06Snell CD-DNP Friday against Celtics
Snell was a CD-DNP Friday against the Celtics.
The CD-DNP is somewhat perplexing, as Snell had averaged 29 minutes per game over his previous three outings. Though Snell has little value in most traditional fantasy formats, he is often a relevant daily games performer. Daily gamers should monitor this situation over the coming days, to see if any official explanation for Snell's Friday absence emerges.

Snell will start Monday's game against the Magic, ESPN.com reports.
Even with Derrick Rose (knee) back in action, Snell will remain in the starting lineup. In his first start of the season Saturday against the Bucks, Snell put up two points (1-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists, and one block in 32 minutes. While his workload may suffer, his line is unlikely to suffer too much.

Snell played 32 minutes in his first start of the season Saturday, scoring just two points (1-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt) with six rebounds, two assists and one block.
Snell was starting with Derrick Rose (knee) and Mike Dunleavy (ankle) sitting out and fizzled in his first run with the starting five. He can be ignored in all standard and medium-sized fantasy leagues.

Snell did not score (0-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and had only one rebound in six minutes Friday against the Grizzlies.
Snell hasn't played much this season and hasn't left the bench for some games, but is starting to play a little more with Doug McDermott (knee) out. He's still not going to see significant playing time even with McDermott out, so don't expect much from him.

Snell (personal reasons) was available to play Friday against Portland, but did not see any action.
Snell missed practice Thursday, but was ready if needed against Portland. Snell provides the Bulls with depth, but doesn't warrant fantasy consideration.

There is no word yet if he will be available Friday against Portland, but don't expect him to have a significant role even if he does play.

Snell scored three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt) to go along with one rebound and one assist in 12 minutes Saturday against the Pacers.
With Derrick Rose (hamstring) out Saturday, it opened up some minutes for Snell in the guard rotation. The only time Snell gets any sort of significant playing time is if the Bulls are not at full strength and even when he does, he's not producing much.

Snell was hit with the dreaded "DNP Coach's Decision" Thursday against the Raptors, just three games after he appeared in only 22 seconds of action.
Snell has played in a combined 15 minutes in the past four games. He doesn't appear to have any ailments at this time, and started out the season playing in 17 and 23 minutes, respectively, in the Bulls' first two games. Snell should see more time, though, after the Bulls' bench only produced 12 points Thursday, with 10 of them coming from Taj Gibson.

Snell played a season-low 22 seconds Wednesday against the Bucks and did not fill any columns on the stat sheet.
Snell barely made it onto the court Wednesday in what marked the first game for the Bulls this season where they had their full complement of guards and small forwards. Expect Snell to be mostly be anchored to the bench when everyone is healthy.
Tue Oct 28 201420:08Snell had third-year option exercised by Bulls
Snell had his third-year option exercised by the Bulls, ESPN Chicago reports.
Snell will be part of a very deep bench for the Bulls, so don't expect him to see significant playing time unless someone goes down with an injury.
