Raburn (knee) will not face any restrictions at the start of spring training, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
This doesn't come as a surprise, as a full recovery from September knee surgery was estimated at just 6-to-8 weeks, but it's reassuring nonetheless. Raburn also missed time with neck and wrist injuries last season and struggled mightily when on the field, posting a .547 OPS in 212 plate appearances. He'll have to fight to maintain a roster spot this spring.

Raburn underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery Friday.
A lateral meniscus tear was repaired during the procedure, and with a full recovery expected in just 6-to-8 weeks, it seems likely Raburn will back to full strength well ahead of spring training. The 33-year-old hit just .200/.250/.297 with four homers in 74 games this season.

Raburn will need surgery on his left knee to repair his damaged meniscus, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Paul Hoynes reports.
This will effectively end Raburn's season, although there is no official timetable for his recovery. If it's a torn meniscus, he could be sidelined for some time. Either way, owners in most formats should look for other options.
Tue Sep 16 201418:50Raburn (knee) headed back to Cleveland to undergo MRI
Raburn (knee) is headed back to Cleveland to undergo an MRI, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Raburn (knee) is likely headed for an MRI after showing no signs of improvement Monday, MLB.com reports. "We brought him here because if he had a good day and was day-to-day, maybe let him sit for a couple of days and be good," manager Terry Francona said. "But the fact that he came in and was pretty tender, there's no way around it, he has to get looked at."
It's looking more and more likely that Raburn's season may be coming to an end if he's unable to respond to treatment quickly.

Raburn (knee) showed little improvement Sunday and could be headed for an MRI if he doesn't make much progress in the next few days, MLB.com reports. "He won't do anything today other than get treatment, and then we'll kind of see how the next day or so goes. If he starts to improve, that's good. If he doesn't, then we'd probably think about getting him an MRI or something," manager Terry Francona said.
There's a chance that Raburn's season will come to a premature end if he doesn't improve and the MRI shows anything more significant than the hyperextension. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Prior to his injury, Raburn was hitting just .191 in 70 games, so he's not worth a look in standard leagues.

Wed Apr 23 201423:17Ryan Raburn goes hitless versus Royals
Ryan Raburn went 0-for-3 before being lifted for a pinch-hitter on Wednesday.
Raburn would supposed to get considerable playing time against righties in addition to his duties against lefties, particularly once Carlos Santana won the third base job. However, his slow start, combined with Lonnie Chisenhall's much better one, has changed that in a hurry. He'll likely be limited to starting against southpaws until he heats up and maybe even afterwards.

Sat Mar 29 201401:36Ryan Raburn knocks in four runs in rout
Ryan Raburn went 3-for-4 and drove in four runs in the Indians' 16-4 drubbing of the Padres on Friday.
Between DHing and playing some right field against lefties, Raburn could be a fixture in the Indians' early season lineup. Giving him a chance to prove 2013 was no fluke isn't a bad idea. That said, the Indians will likely prove better off playing Lonnie Chisenhall over him against righties.
