The 25-year-old collected a pair of singles and a walk in seven plate appearances this season with the Braves, a one week cup of coffee in August. Gosselin simply isn't talented enough offensively to be counted on in non-emergency situations. In August, he made his big league debut because misfortune befell Tyler Pastornicky's knee.
