Miles (illness) is doubtful to play Saturday against the Nets, Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star

Miles had some trouble breathing toward the end of Friday's game against the Pistons, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Miles has been fighting an upper-respiratory infection in recent days and had trouble breathing at the end of Friday's game, which forced the Pacers to go small. He's been able to play through the illness -- Miles logged 32 minutes against Detroit -- but it wouldn't be a surprise if his minutes were scaled back Saturday against Brooklyn.

Miles (illness) scored 11 points (4-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with six rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the win over the Pelicans on Tuesday. He played 27 minutes.
Miles played through an upper respiratory infection and the illness appeared to take a toll as he had his lowest score in the last five games. He is a streaky scorer and he may lose some opportunities because of the return of George Hill.
Tue Dec 23 201418:44Miles has upper respiratory infection but should play Tuesday
Miles has an upper respiratory infection but should play Tuesday, Pacers.com's Mark Montieth reports.
His minutes could be curtailed slightly if he is not feeling well, but it sounds like he will be given the chance to play through the illness Tuesday.

Miles scored 28 points (10-18 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 4-5 FT), leading the Pacers to a win over the Timberwolves.
Miles also grabbed six rebounds and didn't have a single turnover in 32 minutes, which boosted his fantasy value. He's now scored 16 or more points in each of his past four games. However, he's been too inconsistent to be a reliable fantasy option. This month, he has three games of single-digit points and in November, he shot 18.2 percent from the floor. For the time being, he could be worth using in daily leagues if he has a favorable matchup, as he did against the Timberwolves.

Miles scored 17 points (6-14 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and added there rebounds, three assists and one steal in 35 minutes of action against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.
When Miles gets minutes he produces. In his last seven games, when he has received more than 25 minutes he has scored 15 or more points. In games with less than 25 minutes, he has scored five and six points. As long as this team has players out Miles will continue to get time on the court.

Miles (knee) scored 20 points (8-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with one steal in 26 minutes Monday against the Lakers.
Miles has scored at least 15 points in three of his last four games and has been providing a nice offensive boost to the Pacers. He's not going to contribute much in rebounds or assists, leaving him with limited fantasy value even with his improved scoring numbers.
Mon Dec 15 201411:21Miles (knee) will return Monday against Lakers
Miles (knee) will return Monday against the Lakers, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Miles left Friday's contest with a bruised left knee, and it caused him to miss Saturday's game against the Trailblazers as well. Miles is averaging 9.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 22 minutes this season, and saw a season-high 34 minutes of action against the Clippers last Wednesday. He should continue to receive north of 20 minutes assuming his knee doesn't cause him any pain.
Sat Dec 13 201417:09Miles (knee) ruled out for Saturday's game against Blazers
Miles (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Blazers.
Although Miles was confident he was would be able to play against Portland, it seems he was unable to convince the training staff that the knee could hold up. Chris Copeland appears in line to start at small forward for Indianapolis, while Miles casts an eye toward returning Monday against Los Angeles.

Miles (knee) underwent tests after Friday's game and no further damage was revealed beyond a bruise and he thinks he will be well enough to play Saturday, the Indianapolis Star's Candace Buckner reports.
He reported some swelling under his knee cap and said it was still sore, but since the tests revealed no further damage, he should be back on the court soon, and possibly Saturday.
Fri Dec 12 201421:12C.J. Miles: (Bruised Knee) Will Not Return
Miles (bruised knee) will not return to Friday's game.
There was believed to be a chance he could return after suffering the injury Friday, but the Pacers ended up ruling him out. Miles should be considered day-to-day going forward.
Fri Dec 12 201420:24Miles suffered bruised left knee Friday, but available to return
Miles suffered a bruised left knee Friday, but is available to return.
He was inserted into the starting lineup Friday, so Miles' fantasy stock is trending up. It doesn't sound like a serious injury, but it's something to be aware of.
Fri Dec 12 201418:15Miles will enter starting lineup Friday
Miles will enter the starting lineup Friday, Fox Sports Indiana's Jeremiah Johnson reports.
He had been playing close to starter's minutes of late, and put up 30 points off the bench in Wednesday's game. Chris Copeland and Solomon Hill will both move to a bench role, as C.J. Watson also joins the starting lineup Friday. This makes Miles somewhat interesting in deeper leagues, although he has limited upside, and if he struggles, Hill and Copeland could once again overtake him on the depth chart.

Miles scored 30 points (11-22 FG, 7-14 3P, 1-4 FT) with four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 34 minutes off the bench Wednesday.
He's suddenly red hot from beyond the arc, draining 11 of 21 three-point attempts over his last two games. If Miles gets consistent minutes he's capable of helping fantasy owners as a long range specialist, but you may want to wait until he solidifies his bigger role in the Pacers' rotation before you pull the trigger.

Miles scored 15 points (5-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and added two rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes of action against the Hawks on Monday.
Miles saw an uptick in minutes against the Pacers on Monday after Ian Mahinmi (foot) was ruled out for 6-8 weeks. How many minutes Miles will receive in the future remains to be seen, but there is a chance Miles continues to get minutes as the Pacers are really looking for healthy bodies.

Miles (calf) will be available to play in Monday's game against the Mavericks, Indianapolis Star's Candace Buckner reports.
He has been cleared to play, but the Pacers are expected to be careful with his playing time, so Monday is probably not the best time to deploy him in daily leagues.

Miles (calf) is considered questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Mavericks.
Miles has missed the past four games with a sore right calf that's hampered him since the start of the season. If he plays Saturday, he isn't likely to see a heavy workload.
Sat Nov 22 201412:42Miles (calf) will not play against Suns on Saturday
Miles (calf) will not play against the Suns on Saturday.
Miles will miss his third-straight game Saturday, and has only played a total of four minutes over the Pacers last seven games. However, he's expected to regain his starting spot at small forward when he finally recovers from his lingering calf injury.
Wed Nov 19 201411:39Miles (calf) won't play Wednesday against Hornets
Miles (calf) won't play Wednesday against the Hornets.
Miles was a limited participant in practice Tuesday, but was considered doubtful for the game, and has now been confirmed as out. The Pacers don't play again until Saturday, and if he can get in a full practice or two before then, Miles could return to the floor. Solomon Hill, Chris Copeland and Rodney Stuckey will likely all get added minutes in his place.

Miles (calf) was a partial participant in Tuesday's practice but remains doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.
Miles played sparingly in Friday's game but a calf injury arose and kept him out of Saturday's contest. He'll likely need to put in a full practice before returning to game action, so he probably has a better shot to return Saturday versus the Suns than Wednesday.
