Beltran has said he feels better and took some swings in the cage before drawing a walk as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning Thursday. RF Carlos Beltran exited Tuesday's game in the first inning with tightness in his right hamstring and was headed for an MRI. The Yankees said after the game it cramped up and he is day-to-day. "I felt a pull and also I felt like a knot in my hamstring," Beltran said. "You know when I was about to turn. I touched first base and I don't know, I felt something. Beltran was injured running out of the batter's box on a single to left field when he appeared to feel something in his leg upon reaching first base.
