Mon Sep 30 201308:26Jermichael Finley had memory, vision loss
Jermichael Finley (concussion) admitted to memory loss and vision impairment following his Week 3 concussion.
Bengals S George Iloka was fined $15,000 for knocking Finley unconscious. When Finley came to, he couldn't see right. "I looked at the sideline and all I saw was jerseys," Finley said. "I saw the yellow pants we wore, and I didn't see no head or legs. Everybody was decapitated and my body was on fire." The Packers haven't provided an update during their bye week, but this sounds like a serious concussion. Consider Finley questionable for Week 5.

Sun Sep 22 201313:55Pack's Finley officially out with concussion
Jermichael Finley suffered a concussion in Green Bay's Week 3 game against the Bengals, and will not return.
Finley got his neck snapped back on a head shot, though Bengals S George Iloka was leading with his shoulder, not his helmet. Finley staggered off the field, so it was never realistic to expect him to return. The Packers are now left with Andrew Quarless at tight end. Finley had yet to make a catch before going down.

Sun Sep 15 201317:30Jermichael Finley has 6/65/1 day vs. 'Skins
Jermichael Finley caught six passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in Green Bay's Week 2 win over the Redskins.
Finley also briefly departed with "cramps," but managed to draw seven or more targets for the second consecutive week. His score came on an end-zone mismatch with Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall. Clearly a bigger part of the Packers' weekly game plans this season, Finley can be trusted as a lower-end TE1.

Sun Sep 15 201311:37Jermichael Finley officially active for Wk 2
Jermichael Finley (toe) is active for Week 2 against the Redskins.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Finley is "fine." He's a locked-and-loaded TE1 for Week 2. Inactive for the Packers are FS Morgan Burnett, CB Casey Hayward, CB Jarrett Bush, LB Nate Palmer, OG Lane Taylor, DE Josh Boyd and DE C.J. It's the second straight absence for Burnett, and a big break for Robert Griffin III and the Redskins' passing offense.

Sun Sep 15 201308:23Report: Jermichael Finley a go for Packers
NFL Network's Albert Breer reports Jermichael Finley (toe) will play on Sunday against the Redskins.
"He's fine," Breer said. "Normal maintenance." Finley is listed as probable, so he'll be all systems go. Finley traveled to Minnesota to have his toe checked out earlier in the week, and he also admits the injury is a "tad bit painful." It's nothing he can't play through. Finley's a top-10 tight end play this week.

Sat Sep 14 201300:24Jermichael Finley: Toe is a 'tad bit' painful
Jermichael Finely admitted his toe is still "a tad bit painful."
Finley, who is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Redskins, confirmed he will play. He was able to get through practice on both Thursday and Friday. "I feel great. The lights (are) on, right? I'll be out there, for sure," Finley said Friday. "It's a tad bit painful. We've got 48 hours to play the game, so there's a lot going to be done (until) then. I feel great. I've got a big pain tolerance. So I'll be out there, I'll be fine." Finley has a tremendous matchup and sounds close to 100 percent. He's a clear top-10 fantasy option this week at tight end.

Jermichael Finley (toe) is listed as probable for Week 2 after a limited practice Friday.
Finley's toe checked out during his mid-week travel to see a specialist, and he practiced both on Thursday and Friday. Wed Sep 11 201314:44Update: Jermichael Finley has toe injury
Updating a previous item, Jermichael Finley missed Wednesday's practice with a toe injury.
Finley seemed to be moving around fine as he walked around the field and watched his teammates practice. The Packers are likely just being cautious with him. Coming off a five-catch, 56-yard, one-touchdown performance in the opener, there's little reason to believe Finley won't play Sunday against the Redskins. We'd like to see him get out there and practice Thursday.

Wed Sep 11 201313:20Finley not practicing for Packers Wednesday
Jermichael Finley (undisclosed) did not participate in Packers practice Wednesday.
Finley wasn't on the Week 1 injury report, and there were no reports of him getting hurt in the opener against the 49ers. It could just be a rest day for the tight end. He was seen on the field walking around as his teammates went through practice. We have no reason to believe Finley will miss Week 2.

Sun Sep 8 201321:19Jermichael Finley drops one, gets one TD
Jermichael Finley caught five passes for 56 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the 49ers.
It looked bad for Finley at the start when a ball clanged off his hands for an interception. But he redeemed himself quickly, taking a little out pattern and running over several defenders for a 12-yard score at the end of the first half. Finley, in a contract year, appeared noticeably stronger in his upper body and less emotional on the field. He'll be a strong TE1 next week against the Redskins.

Sat Aug 24 201310:01Scout on Pack TE Finley: Looks like go-to guy
An NFL scout told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that Jermichael Finley looks like "a go-to guy" in the Packers' 2013 offense.
"The tight end looks better than last year," the scout said. "He's healthy, for one thing. He seems like a go-to guy this year where last year he kind of disappeared. He's just a difficult matchup." All true, but Finley still needs to play better than he did Friday night against Seattle. He only secured 2-of-6 targets with one bad drop and a missed four-yard touchdown chance.
