Jennings scored 19 points (7-19 FG, 1-9 3P, 4-5 FT) with seven assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Suns.

The ugly three-point shooting was especially painful in a game the Pistons lost by just two points. Jennings came into this one with a surprisingly solid 45% field goal percentage, but expect that number to get dragged down as the season progresses.

Jennings scored 18 points (6-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with three rebounds, six assists and three steals in 32 minutes Monday against the Magic.

Jennings is on fire of late as he is averaging 23.3 points, 6.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.5 three-pointers over his last four games. It took him awhile to get going, but Jennings has certainly been impressive of late.

Jennings scored a game-high 32 points (11-19 FG, 3-7 3P, 7-9 FT) with 10 assists, three rebounds and two steals in 34 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Wizards.

The rare good shooting night for Jennings also accompanied his first double-double of the season. His numbers are still a little suppressed due to the Achilles injury that slowed him down through the first couple of games, but he's clearly up to full speed now.

Jennings finished with 11 points (3-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and two steals in Monday's loss to the Bulls.

Jennings logged 27 minutes while backup D.J. Augustin played 21. While Augustin is still a threat to steal playing time, Jennings has been the clear-cut No. 1 option at the point guard over the past five games. During that five-game stretch, Jennings has averaged 15.8 points, 6.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2.0 threes in 30 minute per game. Excluding a couple of rough outings to begin the season, Jennings is right at his career norm from a production standpoint.

Jennings led his team in scoring on Sunday, finishing with 23 points (8-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 31 minutes.

Jennings once again handled the bulk of the minutes between he a D.J. Augustin. Jennings was responsible for cutting down the lead in the third, with a 14 point scoring outburst. But, also had some costly mistakes that may have cost his team the game in the final minutes. Jennings remains an inconsistent option with a backup chomping at the bit, but if he can figure it all out in time he can prove to be an effective fantasy contributor.

Jennings finished with 15 points (5-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six assists and two steals in Friday's win over the Bucks.

Jennings eclipsed 30 minutes of run for the second time this season. After two rough outings to begin the year, Jennings has bounced back in the past three games, averaging 15 points, 6.7 assists, 1.7 threes and one steal in 30 minutes per game. As long as Jennings is playing well, he'll continue to see more playing time than backup D.J. Augustin.

Jennings had 18 points (6-14 FG, 6-7 FT) and nine assists in Saturday's home loss to Brooklyn.

Jennings played 36 minutes on the evening, the total of time he saw in the first two games of the year. Meanwhile, D.J. Augustin (six points on 1-5 shooting, two assists) didn't do much in 19 minutes off the bench.

Jennings played just 16 minutes (and none in the fourth quarter) during the loss to Minnesota on Thursday. He provided four points (2-4 FG) and six assists.

Jennings has been limited by an Achilles injury, which hampered the guard during the preseason. He may be the best passer on the Detroit roster, but his time share with D.J. Augustin (who played 33 minutes) will limit his immediate fantasy appeal.

Jennings started despite a preseason achillies injury, but he was limited to just 20 minutes of play and only scored 4 points (2-4 FG, 0-0 3Pt, 0-0 FT).

D.J. Augustin came off the bench against the Nuggets and played in eight more minutes than Jennings. Jennings had three turnovers early on in the game, which could have contributed to his limitations. The Augustin/Jennings battle will be one to watch in the games going forward.

Jennings (Achilles) is questionable for Thursday's preseason finale against the Sixers.

Jennings sat out Thursday morning's shootaround while dealing with soreness in his Achilles. It's likely nothing serious, but the Pistons may opt to hold him out in order to keep him fresh for the regular season opener next week.

Jennings finished with 16 points (5-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 assists, four rebounds and two steals in Saturday's win over the Hawks.

Saturday's impressive outing was easily Jennings best performance of the preseason. D.J. Augustin has put together a string of three consecutive quality performances, including a 14-point effort on Saturday, but the Pistons appear set to roll with Jennings as the starter. Jennings' shortcomings (poor field-goal percentage, spotty defense) are well known at this point, but he's still plenty productive in scoring, assists, threes and steals to deploy as a steady PG2 in most formats.

Jennings (knee) is expected to play in Tuesday's preseason opener against the Bulls.

Jennings battled some minor knee soreness Monday, but his condition has improved to the point that he'll be ready to play against Derrick Rose and Co.

Jennings is expected to receive competition from D.J. Augustin and Will Bynum for the starting point guard job during training camp, the Detroit Free Press reports.

With a new front office and coaching staff, the Pistons have been preaching that all players will compete for their jobs during training camp. Head coach Stan Van Gundy is a big fan of Augustin, in particular, but Jennings should still be considered the heavy favorite to start at point guard when the regular season tips off. Still, the situation does warrant a watchful eye if you plan on targeting a Pistons' point guard in fantasy drafts this year.

Jennings added 25 pounds of muscle this offseason, the Detroit News reports.

Jennings hopes the added weight helps on defense and when he's attacking the rim. Despite setting a career-high in assists (7.6) last season, Jennings was disappointed with his performance during his first campaign in Detroit. The 25-year-old point expects to put together a bounce-back campaign under first-year Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy.

Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy questioned Brandon Jennings' "decision-making ability" and shot selection, before mentioning Jennings' 37 percent shooting last season.

"One of the things I like to do with guys in terms of shooting percentage is ask them why," Van Gundy said. "Why 37 percent? I want to hear the answer on that. But I know he's a very, very talented guy." Detroit's new coach/president also mentioned that Jennings is "outstanding in high pick-and-roll situations, something that I love to do a lot."

Brandon Jennings scored 17 points in Sunday's 116-107 loss to the Raptors to go with three boards, seven assists, one steal and two 3-pointers on 6-of-18 from the field.

His field goal attempts were greater than his point total today, which has become old hat for the NBA's worst shooter based on field goal percentage. Jennings does rank a respectable 12th in assist:turnover ratio this season, but he still has a lot of work to do as a floor general and running an offense. The Pistons rank 24th in assists per game despite ranking eighth in the NBA in field goals per game.

Brandon Jennings shot 5-of-17 from the field against the Cavs on Wednesday, scoring a total of 17 points with one board, seven assists, four turnovers and one 3-pointer.

He didn't make his first field goal until the second half and currently ranks dead last among qualifiers for field goal percentage. Jennings has taken the 26th-most shots in the NBA this season, so his ineptitude in scoring the ball with respect to efficiency is unmatched. His offensive game needs a makeover.

Brandon Jennings has been fined $5,000 for flopping in Monday's game vs. the Bucks, his second violation of the season.

The video is attached and there's no way Jennings could contest the charge, as he's clearly angling for a foul, drops to the floor after slight contact which he caused, and then reaches toward his mouth as though he'd been hit in the face. It's good comedy relief, if nothing else. Jennings joins five other players to have been caught flopping twice this season -- Corey Brewer, Mario Chalmers, James Harden, Lance Stephenson and P.J. Tucker.
