While Brandon Jennings seems to be the prime beneficiary of the post-Josh Smith Pistons, Monroe has taken off as well. In his last five games, he has averaged 15.4 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and has at least one steal and one block in each game. Monroe is helping fantasy teams across the board.

Monroe is starting to gain some traction as a member of the starting lineup. He's now recorded three straight double-doubles, averaging 14.3 points and 10.7 rebounds over his last three games. Monroe will continue to see plenty of minutes with Josh Smith out of the picture, so we'll see if he can continue his recent production against a tough Dallas Mavericks team Wednesday.

With the Pistons' thin front court, Monroe should see all the minutes he can handle going forward, which could translate into big production as Monroe enters restricted free agency this offseason.

This is now the sixth game the Pistons have played since moving Monroe to the bench and things have not gotten better for the Georgetown product. For the most part he's had a hard time scoring, with his best game coming against Boston's depleted front court. Additionally, the Pistons have lost every game during that span, so don't be surprised if the team doesn't end the year with this as their final rotation.

Monroe will come off the bench against the Celtics on Wednesday.

Monroe will relinquish his starting spot, opening the door for Kyle Singler to get the nod at small forward. This is already the second time this week coach Stan Van Gundy has used this starting lineup, but it remains unclear whether the switch will be permanent.

Monroe has been playing well with 16.6 points on 50 percent from the field with 10.0 rebounds in his last five games. The Pistons have only won one of those games, so coach Stan Van Gundy may need to tinker around Monroe.

While his front court-mates Josh Smith and Andre Drummond battled foul trouble that limited their court time, Monroe amazingly went the entire game without picking up a single foul. He remains the most reliable big man on the Pistons' roster at the moment.

He's now racked up a double-double in four of five games since missing the beginning of the season due to a suspension. In fact, of the Pistons' big three front court players, Monroe's been by far the most consistent so far. Coach Stan Van Gundy may have a hard time taking him out of the starting five if he decides to go back to a smaller lineup.

Monroe started for the third night in a row and came up with 19 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 32 minutes.

Since returning from suspension Monroe has earned a double-double in all but one game he's played. He's also averaging over 10 minutes in his four outings, which leads to more opportunities for the forward to produce. His inability to block effectively leaves a lot to be desired, but he makes up for it in the steals totals he puts up.

Monroe finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists in Friday's win over Milwaukee.

The Pistons have rolled out their "big" starting lineup with Monroe at power forward and Josh Smith at the three for the second consecutive game. The team has won both games, so odds are Monroe will continue to get looks as part of the starting five. Monroe will have a tough time keeping up the career-best pace (17.0 points, 12.0 rebounds) he has established through his first three appearances this season, but he'll remain a solid option even after the inevitable regression hits.

That's two straight double-doubles for Monroe after he missed the beginning of the season due to a suspension. Coach Stan Van Gundy may not go with a three-big lineup every night, but Monroe seems intent on making it tough for him to return the big man to the bench.
