Tue Aug 30 201123:59Little has best chance to emerge as No. 1 WR?
The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Tony Grossi suspects rookie Greg Little has the best chance of any Browns receiver to emerge as a true No. 1 receiver.
Little still needs to nail down the fundamentals, but he offers the highest fantasy upside of any receiver on the roster. While he's no longer a WR3/4 candidate to enter the season, Little is worth carrying as a roster stash to see if his role grows before the bye-week crunch begins.

Mon Aug 29 201118:56Greg Little has struggled in Browns practice
According to the Akron Beacon-Journal, rookie Greg Little is "inconsistent, lacks focus, and drops too many passes" in Browns practice.
Beat writer Nate Ulrich concedes that Little "appears to be the most talented receiver on the roster," but the rookie's error-prone ways may explain his immediate demotion when Mohamed Massaquoi (foot) returned to practice Monday. If Massaquoi stays healthy, Little may open the season as a fourth receiver with Jordan Norwood and Brian Robiskie higher on the depth chart.

Mon Aug 29 201114:10Greg Little running with Browns backups now
With Mohamed Massaquoi (foot) back in practice Monday, rookie Greg Little was shuttled to the second-team offense.
President Mike Holmgren and coach Pat Shurmur consider Massaquoi their "No. 1 receiver," and apparently don't believe Little is ready for a starting job despite back-to-back solid preseason games. The first-team receiver corps in Cleveland has Massaquoi at Z, Brian Robiskie at X, and Jordan Norwood in the slot.

Fri Aug 26 201108:38Little moves into Browns' starting lineup
Greg Little started in Thursday's third preseason game.
Brian Robiskie lined up opposite Little in a two-wide set. Both had three catches for 23 yards, highlighting the underneath passing game the Browns will run this season. Little is now ahead of Josh Cribbs on the receiving totem pole, remaining a low-end flier in deeper formats.

Tue Aug 9 201101:03Greg Little dropping too many passes in camp
Browns rookie Greg Little has struggled with dropped passes early in camp.
Little had four drops in Monday's practice alone. "He needs to be consistent and play well at a high level every day," coach Pat Shurmur said. "I wouldn't say the drops are increasing. I think at times he needs to catch it better." The Browns are going to need Little, so he'll have to step up his performance. We're still tentatively projecting him as an Opening Day starter.

Mon Aug 1 201121:37Greg Little getting reps with the first team
Second-round pick Greg Little has seen action with the first-team offense early in Browns camp due to injuries.
The first-team reps should be valuable for a player who sat out all of last season on an NCAA suspension. Mohamed Massaquoi remains idle with a bum left foot, and it's conceivable Little will maintain a first-string role even when he returns. Little is one of the top-five rookie wideouts for fantasy football.

Thu Jul 28 201116:54Greg Little gets his rookie deal
Browns signed second-round WR Greg Little to four-year, $3.32 million contract.
The deal includes a $920,000 signing bonus. Little is currently penciled in as the Browns' No. 1 wideout despite the cancellation of the offseason program, a nod to both his talent and the Browns' dearth of pass-catchers. His body is ideally suited to the West Coast scheme, but Colt McCoy's limitations are a concern from a fantasy perspective. Little is just late-round flier material in re-draft formats.
