Greg Little was held without a catch in Cleveland's Week 17 loss to the Steelers.
Little struggled against good defenses and managed just two touchdowns despite leading the Browns in targets. Cleveland is rumored to be interested in adding another receiver this offseason, but Little is an ascending talent with high-end potential. He averaged 59 yards per game since taking over as a starter in Week 4.

Fri Dec 9 201100:41Greg Little held to 25 yards in Week 14 loss
Greg Little caught just two passes for 25 yards against the Steelers in Week 14.
Little continues to struggle with drops, muffing a potential first down in the fourth quarter. He had six targets to Mohamed Massaquoi's seven, failing to lead Browns wideouts in targets for the first time in two months. Little has a better matchup at Arizona last week, but he can no longer be trusted as a WR3 option.

Wed Dec 7 201118:56Mayock: Greg Little ideally would be No. 2 WR
After watching tape of Greg Little, NFL Network's Mike Mayock suggested the rookie projects as more of a No. 2, possession-type receiver who would be helped by the addition of a vertical threat opposite him.
"He's very raw, but I think he can develop into a very good NFL receiver," said Mayock, who did concede Little needs to cut down on drops. "He's got good size and straight-line speed. But he certainly would benefit from having a Mike Wallace-type next to him." Little does have some Brandon Marshall to his game, but has been handicapped by the fact that all of his receptions come around the line of scrimmage, with a high number of defenders in the area.

Mon Nov 28 201114:16Shurmur defends Greg Little's drops
Browns coach Pat Shurmur defended Greg Little on Monday, saying he doesn't anticipate the rookie's drops becoming a trend.
Little had four drops against the Bengals, giving him 12 on the season and a whopping ten in his last five games. Shurmur attributed the dropsies to "focus and concentration," not technique. It is perhaps worth noting that Little's hands measured just 9 1/8 inches last February. Among the 22 receivers listed 6-foot-1 or bigger at the Combine, only three had smaller hands than Little. For serious trivia types, they were Ryan Whalen (Stanford), Andre Holmes (Hillsdale), and Lestar Jean (Florida Atlantic).

Wed Nov 23 201110:04Heckert hinting at the addition of a No. 1 WR
GM Tom Heckert has been "hinting" lately that a playmaking wide receiver could be added in the offseason.
Greg Little has emerged as the true No. 1 receiver in Cleveland, racking up 38 targets in the last five games. But his skill set is probably best used as a No. 2 receiver, working underneath and making things happen after the catch. If the Browns turn to the draft, Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon and South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery are considered elite prospects at the wideout position.

Sun Nov 20 201116:31Greg Little goes for 59 yards in Week 11
Greg Little caught five passes for 59 yards in the Browns' Week 11 win over the Jaguars.
He also narrowly missed out on a first-half touchdown when officials ruled him out of bounds. Little has yet to find pay dirt this season, though we'd have to believe he'll get on the scoreboard at least once before 16 games are up. On Sunday, Little again dominated targets in the Browns' receiver corps. Little saw eight, while Ben Watson was next in line with four.

Mon Nov 7 201111:18Greg Little dealing with rookie mistakes
Greg Little recorded two drops and ran the wrong route in Sunday's loss to the Texans.
Little is having some rookie growing pains. He caught just two of the eight passes that came his way yesterday and admitted he forgot to stop on one third-down hook route. Little can't be trusted in fantasy right now despite a tasty matchup with the Rams on deck. He's on pace to finish the season with 62 catches for 590 yards and no touchdowns.

Sun Nov 6 201117:05Little, McCoy not on the same page
Greg Little caught just two passes for 33 yards in Sunday's loss to the Texans.
Little and Colt McCoy just aren't on the same page. On one third-down play in the second half, Little ran a go when McCoy thought he would settle in the second level of the defense. They had words about it on the sideline, with McCoy talking and Little looking somewhat confused. With just 92 total receiving yards over the last three games, Little will be hard to use as a WR3 even in a dream matchup with the Rams next week.

Sun Oct 30 201120:40Greg Little goes for 28 yards on four catches
Greg Little caught four passes for 28 yards in the Browns' Week 8 loss to San Francisco.
He was targeted a club-high 11 times, but Colt McCoy's inability to connect when Little was lined up outside hurt the game totals, and Little generated scant yardage after the catch. For the season, Little is averaging well under 10 yards per reception. He's just a low-end WR3 heading into Week 9 at Houston.

Sun Oct 23 201117:26Greg Little can't get going in win
Greg Little caught five passes for 31 yards in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.
Little continues to impress by rarely going down on the first hit and finding soft spots underneath. The Browns took a couple deep shots to him in the first half, but Colt McCoy's arm just isn't good enough for that to be a profitable play. Little will continue to be a solid WR3 in deeper PPR leagues, but explosive games are unlikely.

Tue Oct 18 201108:59Shurmur has praise for Little
Coach Pat Shurmur complimented Greg Little following the rookie's first game as a starter.
Little came within a fluky slip of a touchdown but still posted six catches for a season-high 72 yards. "I still think he can play a lot, lot better than he did," Shurmur said. Little, Mohamed Massaquoi and Josh Cribbs will be the Browns' top three wideouts going forward. Little has serious upside as Colt McCoy's favorite target and the player most likely to make a difference after the catch.

Sun Oct 16 201119:22Greg Little catches six passes in loss to OAK
Greg Little caught six passes for a season-high 72 yards in Sunday's loss to the Raiders.
In the first quarter, Little caught a pass in the flat inside the Raiders' 5-yard line and went to turn upfield. But he slipped and stumbled down at the 1-foot line, negating what should have been an easy touchdown. Little was used as promised today, playing every snap and leading the Browns with 12 targets. There's major upside here going forward, especially in PPR formats. Little's physical ability after the catch will lead to some monster games in the weeks ahead.

Mon Oct 10 201112:35Browns promote Greg Little to starting lineup
Coach Pat Shurmur said that Greg Little will start at the X receiver spot in next week's game against the Raiders.
Brian Robiskie was the nominal starter at the X, across from Mohamed Massaquoi, before the Browns' bye. After spending the last week trying to figure out how to get their passing game going, the Browns have properly determined that getting Little heavily involved is an answer. Now the formal starter, Little instantly becomes the receiver to own in Cleveland and an upside play in PPR formats. He racked up six catches on eight targets in Week 4 and has elite playmaking skills after the catch.

Mon Oct 10 201111:46Greg Little headed for a bigger role
The Browns spent a "big chunk" of their bye week "trying to figure out how to jump-start" their West Coast offense, according to the Associated Press.
As the AP points out, getting the ball to Greg Little is the obvious solution. He's the Browns' best playmaker with after-the-catch skills that perfectly suit the West Coast scheme. Little's target count is on the rise as he saw three passes come his way Week 1, five in Weeks 2 and 3 and eight in Week 4.

Sun Oct 2 201119:00Greg Little leads Browns with 57 yards
Greg Little led the Browns with six receptions and 57 yards against the Titans in Week 4.
Playing more snaps than any Browns receiver this season, Little was one of five Cleveland players with at least eight targets on Sunday. He did have one 25-yard receptions but was unable to break free on his other five catches. On pace for 56 receptions and 524 yards, Little is still worth stashing in 12-team leagues.

Sun Sep 25 201117:12Little still part of WR rotation
Greg Little caught three passes for 24 yards in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.
For all the talk about expanding Little's role, it's not happening yet. Josh Cribbs is still getting snaps in two-wide sets and Brian Robiskie is still mixing in at times in three-wide sets. Little remains a mere bench stash in deeper formats as Colt McCoy spreads the ball around in his game-manager style.

Thu Sep 22 201100:18Colt McCoy: Greg Little needs the ball more
Colt McCoy singled out rookie Greg Little as a receiver the Browns need to make more use of in the passing game.
Little only has eight targets through two games, but he's gotten better by the week and looks to be on the verge of a breakout game. "Greg is starting to get the hang of it, [so] we're trying to get him the ball a little bit more," McCoy said. "He's a playmaker. You see what he does with the ball in his hands and he wants the ball. We're excited about how far Greg has come."

Fri Sep 16 201109:35Greg Little leads Browns receivers in snaps
Rookie Greg Little played more snaps (57) than any other Browns receiver in Week 1.
Brian Robiskie (47), Mohamed Massaquoi (41) and Josh Cribbs (26) were next on the list. Little was targeted just three times, but the high snap count suggests the coaching staff realizes he's the team's top playmaker even if he's not technically a starter. Little still represents the highest fantasy upside of the unimpressive quartet.

Sun Sep 11 201118:25Greg Little records one catch for 12 yards
Greg Little finished Week 1 with just one catch for 12 yards as the Browns fell to the Bengals, 27-17.
Little looks to be fourth in the receiving pecking order along with Mohamed Massaquoi, Brian Robiskie, Evan Moore, Jordan Norwood, Ben Watson, and Josh Cribbs. The 2011 Cleveland pass-catching crew looks awfully similar to St. Louis' in 2010, which is hardly a surprise considering the Browns' head coach. Don't expect much fantasy consistency until Little starts playing more.

Thu Sep 8 201111:03Little stands out in Browns camp
Greg Little was named the best rookie in Browns' camp, as voted on by the media.
Little impressed the beat writers, but will open the season as a reserve behind Mohamed Massaquoi and Brian Robiskie. Still, his sizable talent makes the second-round pick a roster stash in fantasy. Robiskie figures to cough up the job quickly.
