Wed Feb 22 201222:28Lou Amundson gets run for Pacers
Lou Amundson had eight points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in Wednesday's win over Charlotte.
The Pacers cleared the bench tonight and allowed the regulars to get some rest heading into the All-Star break. In other words, ignore this line from Amundson.

Sun Dec 18 201110:37Amundson traded to Pacers
Lou Amundson has officially been traded from the Warriors to the Pacers.
Amundson is healthy and gives Indiana greater frontcourt depth at PF/C, especially with Jeff Pendergraph rehabbing his sprained knee. His per-minute block numbers are excellent, but he's not worth owning in fantasy leagues.

Sun Dec 18 201101:53Warriors may trade Amundson for B. Rush
The Warriors are "in the process" of trading Lou Amundson to the Pacers for Brandon Rush, according to beat writer Marcus Thompson.
Amundson was held out of Saturday's game, which is a pretty solid indicator that a deal is going down. The Warriors frontcourt just got even thinner, but they can definitely use help at backup SG/SF and Rush should be a nice fit in Golden State. He'll probably battle Klay Thompson for minutes off the bench, and neither has much fantasy appeal.

Sat Dec 3 201115:56Lou Amundson eager to carve out bigger role
Lou Amundson is intent on carving out a bigger role with the Warriors this year, and thinks his defensive prowess will help.
"Going into this knowing the emphasis he's going to put on defense, that's something I really believe in," Amundson said. He'll come off the bench and isn't likely to help fantasy owners in a limited role, though his per-minute block totals are impressive (0.8 blocks in 13 minutes per game).

Mon Sep 19 201123:41Amundson healthy, ready for new season
Louis Amundson was hindered by finger and back issues last season, but says he's healthy and ready to go whenever the new season starts.
"That's difficult when you want to play and play at a high level and your body just won't let you," he said recently. "With the finger and the back, it was a tough season. Obviously I want to stay healthy this year." Amundson is nothing more than a role player for Golden State, making him a long shot to have fantasy value.

Fri Sep 16 201121:48Amundson looks healthier than last year
Lou Amundson looked healthier at unofficial Warriors workouts over the last two days than he did at any point last season, according to Warriors insider Matt Steinmetz.
He dealt with back, ankle, and finger injuries last year and never got on track. As the type of player that Mark Jackson will need to use to improve the Warriors' defense, he'll be worth tracking in deep formats if he gets off to big start whenever basketball resumes.

Tue Jun 28 201112:17Amundson hasn't decided yet on player option
Lou Amundson has not decided yet whether he'll exercise his player option for the 2011-12 season.
Amundson has until Thursday at midnight to make a decision. The Warriors are expecting him to opt in as he's set to earn $2.4 million. An energy guy off the bench won't get more than that on the open market, especially after the new CBA.

Louis Amundson scored eight points on 3-of-5 shooting with 10 rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in 28 minutes off the bench on Saturday.
This truly comes out of nowhere and we need to see him produce at least one more time, if not more, before we're advising owners to give him a look in deep formats.

Wed Dec 22 201001:45Amundson fouls out in 13 minutes
Louis Amundson started for injured Andris Biedrins (ankle) on Tuesday, but lasted just 13 minutes before fouling out with two points on 1-of-2 shooting with three rebounds and two blocks.
We love the spirit but this just isn't getting it done. Ignore him until he starts to make some noise.
Sun Dec 19 201003:27Amundson quiet in spot-start vs. POR
Louis Amundson was quiet in his spot-start for injured Andris Biedrins (foot) on Saturday, scoring three points on 1-of-3 shooting with four rebounds and one assist in 15 minutes.
It's possible he's not ready for extended time, but either way he's not ready for attention in fantasy leagues. He needs to put up a few good lines before we'll sniff him even in deep leagues.
