Sun Jun 5 202214:05Dansby Swanson Gets Three Hits In Friday's Game
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson had a terrific day at the plate on Friday, going 3-for-4 during the 3-1 win over the Rockies. On the season, the 28-year-old is slashing .280/.348/.439 with six home runs, 26 RBI, 30 runs and nine stolen bases. However, since May 1, Swanson has been hitting .322/.383/.496. He should be rostered in all leagues, as he has a chance to continue contributing in batting average and power.

Fri Apr 29 202200:19Dansby Swanson Heating Up With First Homer
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson connected for his first home run of the season on Thursday as a part of his club's 5-1 victory over the Cubs. His solo shot in the third inning off Drew Smyly flew 432 feet as he also added a single to finish the night going 2-for-3 with a walk. Swanson has had a sluggish start to his 2022 campaign, hitting .209 with seven runs and seven RBI through 20 games, but he has picked it up lately going 7-for-18 over his last six contests. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, he remains hitting out of the ninth spot in the order, but his year-end numbers should still look admirable as a part of a formidable Braves lineup.

Wed Apr 20 202200:07Dansby Swanson Struggling At Plate To Start Season
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson has not gotten off to the start that fantasy managers had hoped for. The 28-year-old is slashing .143/.217/.238 with no home runs, two RBI, no stolen bases, and a 43.5% strikeout rate. He does have a .273 BABIP, which suggests some bad batted-ball luck to this point, but he has provided almost no fantasy value so far. Fantasy managers should be patient with Swanson, but they may want to keep him on their benches until he can heat up a little. The Braves will finish up a tough series at the Dodgers on Wednesday, but Swanson should have better opportunities to hit in their next series against the Marlins, Cubs, and Rangers.

Sun Apr 3 202220:34Dansby Swanson Singles On Sunday
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson went 1-for-3 in a 6-3 loss to the Boston Red Sox in Grapefruit League action on Sunday. Swanson is off to a slow start this spring, hitting just .208 with one homer, four runs, and an RBI across 24 at-bats. The 28-year-old is coming off the best season of his six-year career as he set highs in homers (27), runs (78), and RBI (88). Swanson settles in as a decent fantasy option as a top-20 shortstop in mixed leagues.

Tue Oct 12 202116:10Dansby Swanson Leading Off In Game 4
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson will be the team's leadoff hitter in Game 4 of the NLDS against the Milwaukee Brewers. Swanson has been primarily hitting out of the No. 8 spot in the lineup lately, so the move up to the leadoff spot is a big change for him. Jorge Soler had been the team's leadoff hitter in each of the first three games of the series, but he tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed on the COVID-19 injured list on Tuesday. He will be out a minimum of five days. Swanson has gone 2-for-10 with a run scored in the NLDS so far. He's 0-for-1 with a strikeout in his career against the Brewers' Game 4 starter Eric Lauer.

Orlando Arcia is hitting seventh and starting at shortstop in Swanson's place against the Marlins. You're probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help at the position. Tue Aug 24 202109:21Dansby Swanson Takes Yankees Deep On Monday
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson has put together an impressive season with the bat. On Monday, Swanson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run off lefty Wandy Peralta. It marked Swanson's 23rd blast of the season as he has blown by his former career high in homers that was set at 17. Sadly, the Braves weren't able to produce much offense and dropped this game 5-1 to the New York Yankees. Despite that, Swanson has been on hot with the bat over the last month or so and needs to be started in all fantasy formats.

Mon Aug 16 202112:24Dansby Swanson Goes Yard On Sunday
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson continues to show impressive power at the plate this season. On Sunday, Swanson went 2-for-5 with a home run and 2 RBI in the 6-5 victory over the Washington Nationals. The two-run shot off righty Paolo Espino marked Swanson's 24th home run of the season. This is quite impressive considering Swanson came into 2021 with a career high of 17 homers in a single season. Fantasy managers will certainly take it as Swanson has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball lately. He's an excellent DFS option on almost a nightly basis.

Sat Aug 14 202122:14Dansby Swanson Knocks In Six Runs On Saturday
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson had an incredible day at the plate during Saturday's contest against the Washington Nationals. He went 3-for-6 with a pair of home runs and 6 RBI in the 12-2 victory. Yes, you read that correctly, Swanson knocked in half the Braves runs in this contest by himself. Swanson now has 23 home runs on the season and is batting nearly .400 over his last 15 games. He is turning himself into a must-start fantasy option. Fantasy managers who have been on the fence about Swanson should hopefully change their mind after this game.

Fri Aug 13 202111:48Dansby Swanson Records Two Hits In Loss
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson has quietly put together a fairly strong season at the plate. He continued that going 2-for-3 with an RBI during Thursday's 12-3 blowout loss to the Cincinnati Reds. Swanson has pushed his batting average to .257 with a career high 20 home runs and 61 RBI this season. This much offensive production is quite surprising from Swanson. However, fantasy managers aren't complaining and he'll be worth snagging at least as a bench option in most fantasy formats.

Thu Aug 5 202112:15Dansby Swanson Collects Four Hits On Wednesday
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson was not an easy man to get out at the plate during Wednesday's contest. He went 4-for-4 with a stolen base and three runs scored in the 7-4 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals. The 27-year-old is increased his slash line to .252/.306//471 with a four-hit performance on Wednesday. He also has 20 home runs and 58 RBI this season. Thu Jul 29 202118:42Dansby Swanson Shows Off His Power Versus Mets
Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson continues to be a surprising source of power for this lineup. On Thursday, Swanson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the eighth inning in the 6-3 win over the New York Mets. That gives Swanson 18 home runs on the season, which is a new career high. The power surge came out of nowhere, but the Braves will certainly take it. His power is about the only thing keeping Swanson relevant in fantasy leagues right now.
