Pierce scored nine points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt) to go along with five rebounds and one assist in 18 minutes Monday against the Hornets.

Pierce and most of the Wizards starting lineup weren't needed to play heavy minutes Monday as they cruised to a big victory. Even when Pierce is playing more minutes, he's not nearly the scoring option that he once was as he has scored less than 10 points in six of his last 13 games.

Pierce (personal) missed shootaround but is expected to play Monday, the Washington Post reports.

Little is known about the nature of Pierce's absence, but the personal issue doesn't look to be anything too serious, so expect him to be in the lineup Monday when the Wizards take on the Hornets in Charlotte.

Pierce (knee) contributed 14 points (5-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 34 minutes in his return to the lineup Saturday night.

Pierce played more than 30 minutes for the first time since January 31st. As the elder statesmen, Pierce is susceptible to missing game due to rest and limited minutes. He's averaging a career-low 26.9 minutes per game this year.

Pierce (knee) will start Saturday's game against the Pistons.

After suffering a bruised knee during Tuesday's contest, Pierce took a seat both Wednesday and Friday. In his return Saturday, he'll attempt to uphold his averages from February: 11.2 points (on 43 percent shooting), 2.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.3 three-pointers, and 0.7 steals in 26 minutes.

Pierce (knee) will return to the court against the Pistons on Saturday, The Washington Post reports.

Pierce sat out Friday's game against the Sixers but his ailing Knee apparently feels well enough to jump back on the court Saturday. The extent of the injury is likely minor, so he could take on his normal 33.4 minutes against the Pistons.

Pierce banged his knee during Tuesday's game against the Warriors and will now miss a second straight outing due to the ailment. Although his knee bruise isn't particularly worrisome, it's still unclear if Pierce will be able to return for Saturday's subsequent contest. In the meantime, expect some combination of Rasual Butler, Otto Porter and Martell Webster to fill Pierce's minutes at small forward.

He will probably want to take the court against ex-teammate Kevin Garnett in Garnett's debut with the T-Wolves. Pierce had a nice game Tuesday, but given that Wednesday will be the second game of a back-to-back, it may be best to look for a different option in daily leagues.

Pierce had his most points since scoring 28 points on Dec. 8 against the Celtics. Unfortunately, he did not get much support against the Warriors. Pierce has not scored in double digits in consecutive games since Jan. 31 and Feb. 2.

Pierce was held to just two points (1-8 FG) in 22 minutes Saturday against the Nets. He also added three rebounds, one assist, and a steal.

Pierce played a little bit less than usual as the Wizards had a very comfortable lead over the Nets. Still, the 1-for-8 shooting performance was disappointing. Saturday marked the second time in his last three games where Pierce was held to just one field goal.

Pierce scored 19 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT) in 30 minutes Thursday in a loss to the Hornets, in addition to grabbing two points and dishing out two assists.

Pierce has been inconsistent lately, especially on Washington's recent five-game losing streak. He had four points in 25 minutes Wednesday, and scored had 11 Monday in 24. The 37-year-old had five games of single-digit points, and four games of 19 or more in January. He's worth using in certain situations in daily leagues, but doesn't get enough consistent playing time to be owned in standard leagues.

Pierce had four points (1-5 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, and two assists in 25 minutes Wednesday against Atlanta.

Pierce didn't get many shots Wednesday and had trouble converting when he did have opportunities. The veteran has posted solid numbers this season and there's no reason to think he won't get back to his usual 12 point, five rebound form when Washington takes the floor Thursday against Charlotte.

Pierce (toe) will take the floor Wednesday in Phoenix, the Arizona Republic reports.

Discomfort on Pierce's left big toe spurred a DNP on Tuesday, but just one day later, he'll suit up in some capacity. In his previous four outings, he achieved double-digit points, averaging 15.5 points (on 50 percent shooting), six rebounds, 2.3 assists, and two treys in 31 minutes.

Pierce (toe) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Pierce sat out Tuesday's win over the Lakers with soreness in his toe. He's in jeopardy of missing a second straight game, though a final decision on his status may not come until close to the 10:30 PM ET tip. Otto Porter moved into the starting lineup in Pierce's place Tuesday.

Pierce is dealing with a nagging sore left big toe, which has flared up periodically since the beginning of December. It doesn't look to be anything that will keep him out on a long-term basis, but with the struggling Lakers as the opponent, Pierce may take the opportunity to gain some extra rest. The veteran has played in all but two games this season, and is averaging 12.8 points in just under 27 minutes per game.

Pierce came through with 22 points (7-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT) with six rebounds in 32 minutes in the win over the Bulls on Wednesday.

Pierce had not scored more than 14 points in six previous January games. He took a few extra shots and was able to convert on all of his field goals within the arc. Pierce remains a deep-league play only.

Pierce scored 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), backed up by three assists, and five rebounds in 25 minutes on Sunday.

The 16-year veteran has cared out a role on Washington for his three-point shooting and professionalism on a young team. However, looking at his numbers over the past 15 days, Pierce is returning top-30 value. Stretching that over the last 30 days he's barely giving back top-50 value. Pierce is an asset that undoubtedly Washington needs. However, there are more likely options that can provide better upside on your waiver wire.

Pierce (rest) scored seven points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.

After missing one game, it was not a great return for Pierce. At this point in his career, Pierce's production is too low, and he is is only valuable in very deep leagues.

Pierce will sit out Wednesday's game to rest.

It looks like nothing more than a maintenance day for PIerce, who has appeared in 10 consecutive games. Second-year wing Otto Porter will get the start in his place.
