Sun Apr 28 201319:53Report: Ahmad Bradshaw medically cleared
A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that free agent Ahmad Bradshaw has received full medical clearance for football activities.
Coming off another foot surgery, Bradshaw will be all set for OTAs if he can find a team. Clubs that didn't emerge from the draft with solid backup running backs and could still use one include the Buccaneers and Chargers. The Steelers and Packers are expected to end their previous Bradshaw pursuits after drafting Le'Veon Bell, Eddie Lacy, and Johnathan Franklin, respectively.

Sat Apr 27 201301:01Landing spots drying up for Ahmad Bradshaw
The Steelers are expected to end their pursuit of free agent Ahmad Bradshaw after drafting Le'Veon Bell.
The Packers also stole Eddie Lacy at the end of round two, drying up another potential Bradshaw landing spot. He's going to end up accepting a clear-cut backup role. Bradshaw would make a lot of sense reuniting with old Giants assistant Mike Sullivan in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers need a backup for Doug Martin.

Fri Apr 26 201309:26Bradshaw gains full clearance, PIT interested
Profootballtalk reports Ahmad Bradshaw (foot surgeries) has received "full clearance" for offseason workouts, and that the Steelers "remain interested."
Bradshaw's "full clearance" conveniently comes before the Steelers have the opportunity to select a running back on the second or third day of the draft. Bradshaw was expected to make a second visit to the Steel City before the draft, but it's unclear if it ever took place. With one of the league's most unsettled running back corps, drafting a runner shouldn't preclude the Steelers from taking a flier on Bradshaw.

When asked about a possible Ahmad Bradshaw return, Giants running backs coach Jerald Ingram said it's the young guys' time to shine.

Wed Apr 10 201319:47Report: Bengals interested in Ahmad Bradshaw
PFT reports the Bengals are interested in free agent Ahmad Bradshaw (foot surgeries), and that a visit could take place within the next "week or two."
Bradshaw has generated plenty of interest, but still isn't healthy enough to sign. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported earlier Wednesday that Bradshaw is expected to make a second visit to Pittsburgh before the draft. He's also drawn interest from Denver and Green Bay. Bradshaw would be a nice upgrade on BenJarvus Green-Ellis, but they have similar skill-sets.

Wed Apr 10 201319:10Steelers will meet with Bradshaw before draft
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Steelers plan to meet with free agent Ahmad Bradshaw (foot surgeries) again before the draft.
The sides had an introductory meeting late last month, but Bradshaw wasn't healthy enough to sign. The pre-draft meeting will be critical for Bradshaw's chances of landing in Pittsburgh, as the Steelers could decide to go the draft route instead if he's still not healthy.

Fri Apr 5 201309:48Broncos took a 'long look' at Ahmad Bradshaw
The Denver Post reports the Broncos took a "long look" at free agent Ahmad Bradshaw, and have not ruled out giving him a short-term deal.
As it was with the Steelers, the issue is Bradshaw's foot. Reporter Jeff Legwold expects the Broncos to sign "at least" one more back who could operate as a potential starter. Per Legwold, the Broncos were interested in Shonn Greene before he signed with the Titans, and are eyeing Michigan State's Le'Veon Bell in the draft. Willis McGahee is in grave danger of being released.

Fri Mar 29 201312:52Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) 'still lame'
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the Steelers let free agent Ahmad Bradshaw (foot surgeries) leave without a contract because he's "still lame."
They weren't talking about his record collection. Per reporter Ed Bouchette, Bradshaw is still in some sort of protective boot after undergoing his fifth career foot operation in January. The meeting was termed as a "get-to-know-you session," with a contract never a real possibility. The Steelers are planning to check up on Bradshaw in a "few weeks."

Fri Mar 29 201308:32Bradshaw will visit Steelers again
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent Ahmad Bradshaw will visit the Steelers again "in a few weeks" after he left without a contract on Thursday.
The Steelers clearly saw something they didn't like in Bradshaw's physical, but want to review his progress from his latest foot operation in a few weeks. Bradshaw could still end up as the Steelers' replacement for Rashard Mendenhall, but it's going to take some time. The fact that Bradshaw wasn't healthy enough to sign on Thursday means he might hold off on making any more visits for the foreseeable future.

Thu Mar 28 201320:30Bradshaw leaves Pittsburgh without a deal
Free agent Ahmad Bradshaw left his visit with the Steelers without a contract.
"Steelers are keeping the lines of communication with him open," reports ESPN's Adam Schefter. Bradshaw underwent a physical on Thursday afternoon, and Pittsburgh was expected to push hard to sign him. They may have seen something they didn't like, or Bradshaw might want to see what else is out there. The Packers were linked to the 27-year-old a week and a half ago.

Thu Mar 28 201316:47Bradshaw undergoing a physical with Steelers
Free agent Ahmad Bradshaw is undergoing a physical with the Steelers.
NFL.com's Aditi Kinkhabwala says if everything checks out well, then the Steelers will make an attempt to sign the 27-year-old. Widely regarded as one of the toughest players in the league, Bradshaw would fit in perfectly in Pittsburgh. He also knows how to pick up a blitz.

Thu Mar 28 201313:07Steelers 'would really like' to sign Bradshaw
NFL.com's Aditi Kinkhabwala reports the Steelers "would really like" to sign free agent Ahmad Bradshaw.
Bradshaw visited the Steelers on Wednesday, his first visit of free agency. He's recovering from foot surgery and by waiting to make visits until he shed his walking boot, Bradshaw likely missed the bigger running back money. The 27-year-old would be a fine fit in Pittsburgh, but he may have more visits lined up.

Tue Mar 26 201321:17Ahmad Bradshaw ready to visit the Steelers
Free agent Ahmad Bradshaw will visit the Steelers this week.
Bradshaw, who is recovering from yet another foot operation, shed his walking boot last week, but held off on making visits until he was just a little bit healthier. The physical may be the most important part of Bradshaw's visit, and a deal could come together quickly if the Steelers like what they see. Pittsburgh badly needs a running back who can sustain drives. Bradshaw may go on to visit Green Bay if he escapes the Steel City without a contract.

Wed Mar 6 201319:39Bradshaw cleared to start making visits
Updating an earlier item, free agent Ahmad Bradshaw (foot surgeries) has been cleared to begin visiting teams.
Bradshaw still isn't 100 percent healthy, but can at least take part in one of the most important aspects of free agency. Making visits will allow Bradshaw to take team-specific physicals. If he can convince someone he'll indeed be 100 percent for OTAs, he could come off the market earlier than expected.

Wed Mar 6 201318:52Ahmad Bradshaw expected to be ready for OTAs
Free agent Ahmad Bradshaw (foot surgeries) is expected to be healthy for OTAs.
Bradshaw got the word in a Wednesday checkup. It's good news, but Bradshaw is going to lose money by not being 100 percent for the first wave of free agency. He's yet to be directly connected to any teams.

Mon Mar 4 201314:58Ahmad Bradshaw to visit doctor Wednesday
Free agent Ahmad Bradshaw (foot surgeries) is hoping to receive medical clearance on Wednesday.
Bradshaw has a doctor checkup Wednesday as he seeks clearance to begin vising teams and taking physicals. Bradshaw believes the "door is open" for a return to the Giants despite the fact that they cut him on February 6. Although he's just about to turn 27, there has been scant free-agent buzz on Bradshaw so far.

Tue Feb 12 201314:59Jets to Bradshaw: 'Thanks, but no thanks'
According to the New York Daily News, the Jets' position on free agent Ahmad Bradshaw is "thanks, but no thanks."
Bradshaw gushed about his former crosstown rival in a Tuesday morning interview, but it doesn't appear he'll be the answer to the Jets' problems at running back. Bradshaw (foot surgery) is still months away from being healthy, anyways, so any current speculation is nothing more than empty chatter. The Jets will almost certainly address their running back corps in April's draft.

Tue Feb 12 201314:49Bucs plan to be active on free agent market
Bucs GM Mark Dominik indicates that he plans to be active in free agency again this offseason.
The Bucs signed Vincent Jackson, Eric Wright, and Carl Nicks last March, and still have $30.1 million to work with this spring. "We've got a chance to be (heavily) involved in free agency again," said Dominik, adding that some of the money will be used to retain in-house players. If the Bucs intend to upgrade at running back behind Doug Martin, free agent Ahmad Bradshaw would be a nice fit. He also knows Bucs OC Mike Sullivan from their Giants days.
