Fri Dec 14 201212:57Ahmad Bradshaw ruled out for Sunday's game
Ahmad Bradshaw (knee, foot) has been ruled out for Week 15 at Atlanta.
It's hardly surprising news, as the signs had been increasingly pointing toward rookie David Wilson making his first start with Kregg Lumpkin chipping in on passing downs. As we've opined several times throughout the week, the explosive Wilson is a legit RB1 option against a Falcons defense allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing backs.

Thu Dec 13 201220:05Bradshaw unlikely to play Sunday at Atlanta?
Newsday has joined the New York Post and the New York Daily News in deeming Ahmad Bradshaw (knee, foot) unlikely to play in Week 15 at Altanta.
The Post has gone as far as to suggest Brashaw won't even make the trip to Atlanta. Giants coaches are finally expressing the utmost confidence in rookie David Wilson. "He did a terrific job for us [last week]. We're ecstatic," said OC Kevin Gilbride. "I didn't know he'd be able to run over a linebacker the way he did, which was tremendous to see. He's just getting better and better. I think his comfort level is growing and he's making fewer mistakes." If Bradshaw is indeed out, Wilson will be bumped to the top-10 in Rotoworld's Week 15 ranks.

Thu Dec 13 201212:31Nicks returns to practice, Bradshaw still out
Ahmad Bradshaw (knee, foot) did not practice Thursday.
Bradshaw's knee sprain has him extremely questionable for Sunday's game in Atlanta. Paul Schwartz of the New York Post is betting that he doesn't even make the trip. Although freakish Robert Griffin III appears set to play through his Grade 1 sprain, it's normally a 1-2 week injury -- especially for running backs. Explosive rookie David Wilson is shaping up as a borderline RB1 candidate for the semifinal round of the fantasy playoffs.

Mon Dec 10 201213:38Ahmad Bradshaw (knee) undergoing MRI
Ahmad Bradshaw will undergo a battery of tests on his left knee Monday, including an MRI.
Coach Tom Coughlin was tight-lipped on Bradshaw's status. "We'll know more about that when these medical examinations are completed," Coughlin said. "Any time you are talking about a knee and going through series of tests, better off to wait and see." Bradshaw played through the injury in Sunday's blowout win, so it's doubtful his MRI will uncover anything major. Coupled with his foot issues, however, even a minor knee ailment could spell trouble for his Week 15 prospects. Bradshaw's status should be updated within the next 48 hours.

Mon Dec 10 201209:23Ahmad Bradshaw will be sore
Coach Tom Coughlin said he expects Ahmad Bradshaw to be "sore as he always is" this week.
Bradshaw was briefly forced out of Sunday's win over the Saints in order to get his left knee evaluated. He was able to return to the game, but knee woes in addition to his chronic sore foot is a scary combination. Expect to see plenty of impressive rookie David Wilson against the Falcons in Week 15.

Sun Dec 9 201220:04Ahmad Bradshaw held to 33 yards in win
Playing through a knee injury, Ahmad Bradshaw rushed 11 times for just 33 yards in New York's Week 14 win over the Saints.
He was held without a catch. Bradshaw missed over a quarter of action in the first half, and shuttled in and out of the game after returning mid-way through the second quarter. He was out-touched by explosive rookie David Wilson, who erupted for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Bradshaw even lost a goal-line carry to Wilson early in the third quarter, though it appeared to be largely a function of the Giants getting the ball surprisingly early following a Drew Brees pick. Bradshaw wasn't quite done getting his knee stretched out on the sideline. Wilson's role should continue to grow, but Bradshaw will remain the Giants' lead back if he can give it a go in Week 15.

Sun Dec 9 201217:25Ahmad Bradshaw returns to game vs. Saints
Ahmad Bradshaw (knee) returned to New York's Week 14 game against the Saints mid-way through the second quarter.
Bradshaw missed roughly a quarter of action after heading to the locker room halfway through the first quarter, but was back for the first snap of New York's fifth possession. He could cede a few more snaps than usual to rookie backup David Wilson, but looks primed to finish out the afternoon, barring a setback.

Fri Dec 7 201212:03Bradshaw returns for Friday's practice
Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle) returned for Friday's practice, as expected.
If Bradshaw has a normal schedule, this is it. He's fully expected to start and handle the majority of the backfield touches versus the Saints on Sunday. Rotoworld ranks Bradshaw No. 8 among running backs for Week 14.

Thu Dec 6 201212:35Ahmad Bradshaw not practicing Thursday
Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle) is not practicing Thursday.
The Giants are giving Bradshaw all the rest he needs. They're coming off a Monday night in which he saw 26 touches and they are going to have to ride him again this week because they still don't trust backup David Wilson. Bradshaw will be on the RB1 radar against the Saints Sunday even if he doesn't return to practice Friday.

Wed Dec 5 201218:08Ahmad Bradshaw doesn't practice Wednesday
Ahmad Bradshaw (neck/ankle) was held out of Wednesday's practice.
Coming off his most touches since Week 6, Bradshaw's practice reps could be even more limited than usual this week, but he'll be the bell-cow against the Falcons on Sunday. Rookie change-of-pace back David Wilson appears unlikely to be a threat to Bradshaw's fantasy value down the stretch.

Tue Dec 4 201200:19Bradshaw goes over 100 yards in MNF loss
Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 103 yards on 24 carries in Monday night's Week 13 loss to the Redskins.
Bradshaw also caught two passes for 13 yards in the defeat, and the 24 touches were his most since a Week 6 thrashing of the 49ers. With Andre Brown out for the season, Bradshaw handled a full load. David Wilson and Kregg Lumpkin were sprinkled in and received just four touches. With four games left, Bradshaw is on pace to carry the ball 252 times for 1,140 yards and six touchdowns this season. As the team's bellcow back entering the fantasy playoffs, Bradshaw has matchups with the Saints', Falcons', and Ravens' bottom-10 run defenses in Weeks 14-16.

Sat Dec 1 201213:50Bradshaw puts in limited practice on Saturday
Ahmad Bradshaw (neck/ankle) put in a limited practice on Saturday and is officially listed as probable for Monday Night Football versus the Redskins.
Bradshaw hasn't done much practicing over the past two months. After showing better burst in Week 12 against the Packers, and with Andre Brown's broken leg, Bradshaw is a recommended RB2 this week against Washington. He checks in as Rotoworld's No. 15 running back for Week 13.

Fri Nov 30 201215:02Ahmad Bradshaw limited in Friday's practice
Ahmad Bradshaw (neck/ankle) was limited in Giants practice Friday.
Bradshaw often doesn't practice at all on Fridays, so his participation is another sign that Bradshaw is feeling as healthy or the healthiest he's been all season. Bradshaw demonstrated increased burst in Week 12, coming off the Giants' bye, and he'll be a recommended RB2 start against the Redskins with goal-line back Andre Brown (fractured fibula) now on injured reserve.

Thu Nov 29 201213:51Bradshaw held out of Thursday's practice
Ahmad Bradshaw (neck, ankle) ended up being held out of Thursday's practice.
Bradshaw was expected to do "a little bit." It's not a major concern that he didn't practice at all, as Bradshaw often misses Thursday's work. He's coming off his highest fantasy output since Week 6.

Thu Nov 29 201211:15Ahmad Bradshaw to work some in practice
Ahmad Bradshaw (neck, ankle) is expected to practice on a limited basis Thursday.
The mere fact that Bradshaw isn't being completely rested is a good sign for his health. He looked really sharp in last week's win over the Packers, totaling 119 yards and a touchdown on just 12 touches. And with Andre Brown (leg) done for the season, Bradshaw's goal-line opportunities are about to get a major boost. He's a strong RB2 against the Redskins Monday night.

Sun Nov 25 201223:57Bradshaw totals 119 yards, TD in win
Ahmad Bradshaw rushed 10 times for 58 yards and a touchdown in New York's Week 12 win over the Packers, adding two catches for 61 yards.
Bradshaw took a screen 59 yards to the Packers' two-yard line on the Giants' fourth play from scrimmage, only to watch goal-line back Andre Brown vulture a two-yard score two plays later. Bradshaw actually touched the ball one fewer time than Brown in a game the Giants controlled throughout. That won't be the case in Week 13, though, as Brown is out indefinitely with a broken leg. In theory, it boosts Bradshaw's fantasy value as he'll pick up the goal-line carries Brown has been getting the past 5-6 weeks. However, the increased workload can only be bad for his brittle feet. Rookie David Wilson will be the Giants' new change-of-pace back, but he won't be as big of a threat to Bradshaw's fantasy value as Brown was.

Fri Nov 23 201213:35Ahmad Bradshaw listed as probable
Ahmad Bradshaw (neck, ankle) was limited in Friday's practice and is listed as probable for Week 12.
Bradshaw will be the lead back in a three-man Giants rushing committee in which coach Tom Coughlin promises to involve first-rounder David Wilson this week, coming off a bye. Bradshaw is a mid-range to low-end RB2 versus the Packers' top-11 run defense. He's been losing goal-line work to Andre Brown lately.
