Mon Mar 24 201418:38Wilson Chandler appears to be out on Monday
Coach Brian Shaw said he will start Quincy Miller at small forward on Monday which means Wilson Chandler (groin) is likely out.
Chandler sat out on Sunday and continues to suffer injures to his lower half. We'll pass along the official word, but for now it seems like he's not going to play since he is really needed in the starting lineup and bring him off the bench makes little sense. Fantasy owners can look to cut him in a do-or-die situation.

Sun Mar 23 201416:24Wilson Chandler out Sunday w/ strained groin
Wilson Chandler (strained groin) will not play on Sunday, shifting Anthony Randolph into the Nuggets' starting lineup.
With J.J. Hickson (torn ACL) done for the season, Randolph and Jan Vesely should both get solid playing time on Sunday. Whether or not Randolph will have value in Denver's upcoming three-game week depends mainly on Chandler's health, and we'll pass along all updates as they become available. Considering how easy it is to aggravate groin strains, and the fact that Chandler just returned from a hip injury, it wouldn't be surprising to see him out again on Monday.

Sat Mar 22 201402:02Chandler returns from hip injury on Friday
Wilson Chandler (hip) returned to action in Friday's loss to the Mavs, scoring six points on 3-of-6 shooting with four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 31 minutes.
The scoring is a problem but at least he contributed elsewhere while his offense was on pause. We're more inclined to cut him slack tonight knowing that the injection he received could easily have had lingering effects, but overall he profiles as a shutdown risk and if you're staring at a hot free agent we wouldn't fault you for rolling the dice. Just know that he could start putting up serviceable numbers in a game or two.

Thu Mar 20 201415:41Wilson Chandler (hip) probable vs. Mavericks
Wilson Chandler (hip) is probable for Friday's game in Dallas.
He got a precautionary day off on Wednesday following an injection in his hip, and there's still cause for concern from a fantasy perspective -- he's averaging a mere 12.5 points on 40.0 percent shooting over Denver's past four games, with 1.8 threes, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and zero steals to his credit. Evan Fournier should head back to the bench upon Chandler's return.

Wed Mar 19 201416:02Wilson Chandler got an injection in his hip
Wilson Chandler recently received an injection in his hip.
It's a maintenance issue for Chandler, not a true injury. But the key is that two days of rest is mandatory following the injection, which leaves him very questionable for Friday. Chandler did say the absolute latest he'd return to the court is Sunday afternoon against the Wizards. Evan Fournier is tentatively expected to start at small forward in the meantime.

Wed Mar 19 201413:29Wilson Chandler (hip) out vs. Detroit on Wed.
Wilson Chandler will not play vs. the Pistons on Wednesday due to a hip injury.
Chandler seemed fine over his past two games, averaging 11.5 points in 31 minutes per contest, but guys like Quincy Miller, Evan Fournier and Darrell Arthur will have to step up in his absence vs. the Pistons. Denver plays two more times this week and Chandler should be considered questionable for Friday's road game in Dallas.

Wed Mar 12 201422:59Wilson Chandler on a roll, scores 21 points
Wilson Chandler played 31 minutes against the Magic during Wednesday's 120-112 win, scoring 21 points with 10 boards and three 3-pointers on 8-of-17 from the field.
It's his second double-double in the month and he's back to putting up big numbers. In his previous six games since returning from a knee injury, Chandler averaged 17.0 points, 5.5 boards, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.3 triples. The percentages won't be there, but he's a must-own player while he's healthy.

Tue Mar 4 201400:12Wilson Chandler scores 25 points vs. Wolves
Wilson Chandler attempted a whopping 11 attempts from 3-point range on Monday vs. the Wolves, making two of them on his way to 25 points, 10 boards, two assists and one steal in 38 minutes.
While he couldn't hit many shots from deep, Chandler did well inside the arc with a shooting line of 9-of-11 from that range. His knee issue seems to be behind him and his 38 minutes tonight were his highest since Jan. 19. He's made over 2.0 triples per game in each of his last two months and is worth owning in all standard leagues.

Sun Mar 2 201400:58Wilson Chandler plays 34 minutes, scores 14
Wilson Chandler (knee) played 34 minutes in a return from a one-game absence on Saturday, scoring 14 points with three boards, three assists and two 3-pointers during a 102-92 loss to the Blazers.
He's not usually the type of player who rests for just one game, so it was nice to see him back already. Chandler's hamstring and hip problems have cost him time this season and he remains a bit risky. His fantasy owners should still expect production out of him as long as he's able to avoid street clothes on game nights.

Sat Mar 1 201414:22Wilson Chandler (knee) OK at shootaround
Wilson Chandler (sprained knee) looked good during Saturday's shootaround, clearing the way for a possible return vs. Portland.
Evan Fournier played heavy minutes as a starter on Thursday but he'll head to the bench if Chandler is indeed ready to return. Quincy Miller's playing time would also take a hit, but before setting lineups owners should wait for the final word from Denver -- it appears Chandler may be headed for a game-time decision.

Sat Mar 1 201411:14Wilson Chandler (knee) expected out Saturday
Wilson Chandler (sprained knee) is expected to miss another game on Saturday.
The Nuggets have ruled out any damage beyond a simple sprain, but Chandler couldn't even make it through shootaround on Thursday and it sounds like he'll pick up another DNP vs. the Trail Blazers. Evan Fournier started in his absence on Thursday and would likely do so again, making him an interesting short-term option for points, 3-pointers and a handful of rebounds.

Fri Feb 28 201411:25Wilson Chandler's sprain is 'nothing too bad'
Coach Brian Shaw said Wilson Chandler's knee sprain is "nothing too bad."
Chandler originally injured the knee during Tuesday's loss to the Blazers. He was even able to participate in a little of Thursday's morning shootaround before declaring himself out. "Our trainer told me it wasn't a serious injury and the doctors didn't see anything major," Shaw said. It sounds like Chandler has a chance to return for Saturday's game at Portland. If he can't, talented Frenchman Evan Fournier projects to get another start.

Thu Feb 27 201414:19Wilson Chandler out Thursday w/ sprained knee
Wilson Chandler will not play on Thursday due to a sprained right knee.
It's unclear exactly when he hurt himself but this could explain Chandler's 3-of-12 shooting performance on Tuesday. Quincy Miller is the most likely candidate to take his spot in the starting lineup. The Nuggets finish their week with a road game in Portland on Saturday, for which Chandler should be considered questionable.

Wed Feb 26 201400:12Wilson Chandler hits 3-of-12 shots in loss
Wilson Chandler hit just 3-of-12 shots for seven points, eight rebounds and a 3-pointer in Tuesday's loss to the Blazers.
Chandler is in a bad funk right now, scoring seven or fewer points in three straight games, hitting just 7-of-25 shots over that stretch. He'll break out of the slump at some point, but can't seem to find his shot right now.

Thu Feb 20 201423:28Wilson Chandler turns in efficient line
Wilson Chandler made 6-of-8 from the field for 15 points during Thursday's win at Milwaukee to go with six boards, one assist and three 3-pointers.
Outside of some sub-par shooting, Chandler is in a groove over his last five games with averages of 15.8 points, 5.4 boards, 2.2 assists, 0.2 blocks and 3.4 treys in 32.4 minutes. He should have no problem putting up mid-round value as long as he's able to stay healthy and improve his shooting just a tad.

Wed Feb 12 201419:14Wilson Chandler will play shooting guard
Wilson Chandler will slide over to shooting guard against the Wolves on Wednesday.
He's started at shooting guard previously in his career and the Nuggets kind of had to do something after their embarrassing loss on Monday. The Nuggets have used their starting lineup of Chandler, Randy Foye, Darrell Arthur, J.J. Hickson and Kenneth Faried for just six minutes this month, so it's a bit foreign to them. Chandler's fantasy value shouldn't change much and he remains a must-start player in standard leagues.

Thu Feb 6 201402:46Wilson Chandler scores 24 in win
Wilson Chandler hit 11-of-19 shots and a 3-pointer for 24 points, three rebounds, one assist and a block in Wednesday's win.
He had been quiet over his previous three games, but bounced back against the Bucks. He's getting well over 30 minutes a night and now that his slump might be over, look for Chandler to start putting up big numbers again. He hasn't been stealing the ball, but has hit nine 3-pointers over his last five games.

Thu Jan 30 201400:16Wilson Chandler has a rare bad game
Wilson Chandler had a rare bad game against the Bobcats on Wednesday with nine points, five boards, three assists and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
Over his previous six games, Chandler averaged 18.7 points, 5.0 boards, 2.5 assists, 0.3 steals and 3.0 triples, so there's nothing to worry about with this dud. He's worth owning in all leagues with the Nuggets shorthanded in the forward department on the season.

Sun Jan 26 201400:54Wilson Chandler scores 25 points in win
Wilson Chandler scored a game-high 25 points in Saturday's 109-96 win over the Pacers, while adding six boards, three assists and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
It didn't take long for Chandler to get over his hip injury. After one quiet game, he averaged 21.0 points, 5.4 boards, 1.0 blocks, 0.4 steals and 3.2 triples per game in 36.2 minutes over his last five. Chandler should be owned in all leagues and it's not a bad idea to consider him a sell-high option based on his injury history.
