Fri Jan 30 201513:46Marco Belinelli: (Groin) Questionable For Saturday
Belinelli (groin) managed to participate in most of Friday's practice and is considered questionable to play against the Clippers on Saturday, Michael Erler of CBS Sports reports.
Belinelli has been off the court since Jan. 9 with a continuing groin injury. Although, his availability for Friday's practice seems to denote that his return is right around the corner, if not Saturday.
Tue Jan 27 201517:33Belinelli (groin) will miss Wednesday's game against Hornets
Belinelli (groin) will miss Wednesday's game against the Hornets, Project Spurs' Paul Garcia reports.
There is still no timetable for Belinelli to return to action, leaving more playing time for Danny Green and Manu Ginobili for the time being.
Sun Jan 25 201511:35Belinelli (groin/abdomen) out Sunday against Bucks
Belinelli (groin/abdomen) is out Sunday against the Bucks.
His most recent timetable to return has Belinelli returning in the next few days, though since we haven't seen him practicing yet, it's quite possible that the 3-point specialist will need more time to return from these two injuries.
Fri Jan 23 201514:24Belinelli (groin/abdomen) will not play against Lakers on Friday
Belinelli (groin/abdomen) will not play against the Lakers on Friday.
Belinelli is dealing with both groin and abdomen injuries, but his original timetable for return is imminent. His next opportunity to make a comeback will come against the Bucks on Sunday.
Fri Jan 16 201519:33Marco Belinelli: (Groin) Out 7-10 Days
Belinelli (groin/abdomen) is still a week to 10 days away from returning from his injury, the San Antonio Express-News' Jeff McDonald reports.
Now that Kawhi Leonard has returned from injury, the Spurs can afford to let Belinelli rest up for a couple weeks. He was pretty useful when Leonard was out, but upon his return it may be tough for him to find enough consistent playing time to be very valuable in standard leagues.
Thu Jan 15 201518:15Belinelli (groin) out for Friday's game against Trail Blazers
Belinelli (groin) is out for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers.
The injury isn't considered serious, but Belinelli will miss a fourth consecutive game. With Kawhi Leonard (hand) expected to return Friday, Belinelli will likely have very limited minutes once he's able to play.
Wed Jan 14 201511:54Belinelli (groin) will not take floor Wednesday against Hornets
Belinelli (groin) will not take the floor Wednesday against the Hornets, Mike Monroe of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
It will be the third straight absence for Belinelli, which should equate to increased minutes for Patty Mills off the bench. Austin Daye has stepped into the starting lineup in Belinelli's place over the last two games, but it remains to be seen if that will be the case again Wednesday after Daye played just seven minutes in Tuesday's loss to Washington.
Tue Jan 13 201518:22Belinelli (groin) ruled out for Tuesday's game
Belinelli (groin) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game, the Washington Post's Jorge Castillo reports.
Look for Danny Green, Manu Ginobili, Kyle Anderson and Austin Daye to all do their part to make up for the absence of Belinelli and Kawhi Leonard, who is also out. Consider Belinelli day-to-day.

Belinelli (groin) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup with Washington, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports.
Belinelli sat out Saturday's game due to a mild strain in his left groin. It doesn't look to be anything serious, but it could cost him another game. If he sits Tuesday, his next opportunity to play will come Wednesday in Charlotte.
Sat Jan 10 201519:15Belinelli (groin) will miss Saturday's game against Timberwolves
Belinelli (groin) will miss Saturday's game against the Timberwolves.
Belinelli is dealing with a mild strain in his left groin and will be looking ahead to Tuesday's game against the Wizards as the earliest possible date that he could get back on the court. During his absence, rookie Kyle Anderson will likely see an increased role against the Timberwolves.

Belinelli is dealing with a mild strain in his left groin and is considered questionable to play Saturday against the Timberwolves.
Belinelli's status won't likely be updated until after pregame warmups. With that in mind, it might be wise to consider other options since the Spurs play one of the later games on Saturday's slate of contests. If he's ultimately unable to play, his next opportunity to get on the court will be against the Wizards on Tuesday.
Sat Jan 3 201520:35Belinelli will start Saturday's game against Wizards
Belinelli will start Saturday's game against the Wizards, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Belinelli will get the nod instead of Kyle Anderson, who was in the starting lineup for San Antonio's last game Wednesday. Belinelli shot just 43.2 percent from the field in December, but he did average 11.8 points and 1.6 three-pointers in 27.9 minutes per game over 18 contests.

Belinelli returned to form, pouring in 18 points (7-13 FG, 4-7 3pt, 0-0 FT) while bringing in four rebounds in 35 minutes of play Tuesday.
Belenelli has benefited with inflated playing time as Kawhi Leonard (hand) has missed the past few games. This was evident Tuesday as Belenelli remained in the starting lineup and played a team high 35 minutes. Tuesday marked just the second time in San Antonio's past five games in which he scored in double-digits and will look to keep up his sharp shooting Wednesday, as they take on New Orleans.

Belinelli went cold from the field Sunday against the Rockets, shooting just 2-for-11 en-route to eight points, two rebounds, and two assists in 31 minutes of action.
Belinelli has been underwhelming in extended minutes of late, averaging just 9.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.8 three-pointers over the last four games. Still, he'll continue to see fixed minutes in the rotation, thanks to various injuries to Kawhi Leonard (hand) and Tony Parker (hamstring). Even when his teammates return, Belinelli is still worth owning in 14-man leagues due to the Spurs' propensity to rest players during stretches of the season.
Sat Dec 27 201405:16Belinelli returned to bench against Pelicans Friday
Belinelli returned to the bench against the Pelicans Friday. He scored 13 points (6-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT) and added three rebounds, an assist, and a steal in 32 minutes.
Belinelli started Thursday, but returned to the bench for Friday's contest. The move did not impact his production or workload, as both were similar regardless of where Belinelli began the game.
Fri Dec 26 201405:05Belinelli moved into starting lineup in place of Kyle Anderson o...
Belinelli was moved into the starting lineup in place of Kyle Anderson on Thursday. The Spurs continue to rotate in backups to try and fill the void of Kawhi Leonard's (hand) absence.
Belinelli put up seven points, one rebound, two steals, and one block in 30 minutes. While he could have decent value in daily games when making spot starts, Belinelli will spend most of the season in a reserve role that will limit his ceiling and make him unrosterable in most standard leagues. Through 22 games played this season, Belinelli is averaging 23 minutes per game, only giving him enough court time to be of use if very deep leagues.
Thu Dec 25 201412:59Marco Belinelli: Will Join Starting Lineup Thursday
Belinelli will replace Kyle Anderson as the starting small forward in Thursday's tilt with the Thunder, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Anderson had been the starter in name only the last two games, as Belinelli had received more minutes in both contests. Though he turned in a quiet showing in the Spurs' most recent contest Monday versus the Clippers, he had attempted a whopping 50 shots (12.5 per game) over the preceding four outings. It appears Belinelli has the green light to fire away right now for the Spurs while Kawhi Leonard (hand) and Patty Mills (shoulder) remain out, making him an intriguing pickup outside of shallow formats.

Belinelli scored 21 points (7-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT) with three rebounds and two assists in 39 minutes Saturday in Dallas.
Belinelli, who was starting for Danny Green (rest), has now scored in double digits in the past three games, but a lot of that production comes due to the fact that the Spurs' wing rotation was thinned significantly without Green and Kawhi Leonard (hand). He can be streaky player, but really only provides value in points and three-pointers and so, can be ignored in most standard leagues when the Spurs boast a full rotation.

Belinelli scored 22 points (6-13 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 30 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Knicks.
Belinelli came off the bench in this one, but still produced well, and played the third-most minutes on the team. Obviously his fantasy value depends on when he'll get minutes, but he's a nice spot start for daily fantasy players when Gregg Popovich randomly decides to rest his starters.
Sun Dec 7 201403:07Belinelli scored season-high 20 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT...
Belinelli scored a season-high 20 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT)with two rebounds and six assists in 28 minutes Saturday.
Belinelli made the most of the fact that Manu Ginobili (rest) was out, and despite this big game, isn't worth of adding in standard leagues. If and when Ginobili and Tony Parker sit, Belinelli's increased responsibilities make for a decent fantasy play, but in other circumstances, he's better left on the waiver wire.
