Ekpe Udoh didn't score and had just two rebounds in 21 minutes, but blocked a season-high five shots in Thursday's win.

He has 14 blocks in his last five games, but isn't doing much else. If you are desperate in that category though, he is someone to take a look at with Kwame Brown out for the year and Andris Biedrins struggling.

Ekpe Udoh played through a sore wrist on Tuesday and had six points and one rebound in just 14 minutes.

Andris Biedrins had five fouls, zero points and zero rebounds in just 14 minutes on Tuesday, and you have to think Mark Jackson is thinking about turning to Udoh, given Biedrins' constant struggles. But for now, both players should be on waivers in all fantasy leagues.

Ekpe Udoh had two points, three rebounds and two blocks in 31 minutes on Saturday, but suffered a left wrist injury late.

It appeared to be more of a bruise than anything else, but the concern is that the injury was to the same wrist he had surgery on last year. He doesn't have fantasy value to begin with, and should be considered day-to-day for now.

Ekpe Udoh is again struggling to find consistency between performances.

Mark Jackson said a couple of weeks ago that the key for Udoh was to be consistent, and he's still struggling to find that for the Warriors. "Mentally, I have to focus in," Udoh said. Coach Jackson said "overall, he has not played up to par," and it's tough to argue with his assessment. The Warriors could really use his help in the middle, but he's averaging just 4.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 18 minutes per game this season.

Mark Jackson said that Ekpe Udoh needs to be more consistent.

"The thing for Ekpe is to be consistent," he said. "He's got to bring that energy every night." Udoh is staring at an increased role with Kwame Brown (pectorals) sidelined for at least three months, and responded well on Sunday with 10 points, six rebounds, three steals and four blocks against the Pistons. Owners in need of a big man should monitor his production closely.

Ekpe Udoh came off the bench to hit 5-of-8 shots for 11 points and three rebounds in 25 minutes on Monday.

David Lee was out and we were hoping for more from Udoh, but Dominic McGuire got the start at PF instead. Lee is day-to-day and will hurt Udoh's potential when he returns.

Ekpe Udoh could get the start for the Warriors at power forward on Monday with David Lee sidelined with an illness.

Udoh should be able to flirt with a double-double today as well as kick in some blocks, and looks like a decent spot start in fantasy, even if he somehow doesn't start for the Warriors today.

Ekpe Udoh came off the bench for seven points, nine rebounds and no blocks on Saturday.

Andris Biedrins has cooled off and it could be time for Udoh to get some run. He's not an automatic pickup at this point, but is a guy to put on your watch list.

The Warriors are expecting a breakout season from Ekpe Udoh.

Udoh, now in his second season, will have to play a lot better than he did during his rookie campaign. Head Coach Mark Jackson said Udoh was playing "great," noting that he was "blocking shots, rebounding the ball, being a physical force, running the court."It's nice to hear that he's impressing his new coach, but he's going to have to be a lot better to make an impact for owners. He averaged just 4.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks last year, but if you're desperate for some blocks, he might be worth a look.

Ekpe Udoh will leave Israel without playing a single game for Bnei HaSharon, as the team struck out with NBA players during the lockout.

Trevor Booker hurt his thigh and left before playing any games, J.J. Hickson had attitude problems and left after one game, and now Udoh is gone due to the lockout. Some teams succeeded in their short-term gambles on NBA talent, but Bnei HaSharon was not one of them.

Ekpe Udoh has signed with Bnei Hasharon in Israel for the duration of the lockout.

Udoh becomes the third NBA player to sign with the team during the lockout. The club previously inked Trevor Booker and J.J. Hickson, but each has since left Israel and returned to the United States. Udoh will have an opt-out clause in his deal as well, and there's no doubt that Bnei Hasharon would like his stay to extend to longer lengths than its previous two NBA imports.

Ekpe Udoh's face-up game is improving as he gains confidence in his outside shot, according to Friday's report from team insider Matt Steinmetz, who has been covering unofficial Warriors workouts over the past two days.

Steinmetz writes that he is more comfortable within 17 feet, and while he will still focus on defense, he has some upside in a unit that at least claims to be more defensively focused under Marc Jackson. Given his ability to block shots and rebound, he'll be worth watching in leagues that value those stat categories.

Ekpe Udoh has no plans to play overseas during the NBA lockout.

Udoh recently finished his undergraduate degree at Baylor, but it appears he plans on staying stateside for the time being. We normally wouldn't make note of a player's choice to not pursue international basketball, but Udoh could really use all of the development that he can get at the offensive end. Most interestingly, Udoh is represented by Chris Luchey, the same agent that just negotiated Wilson Chandler's Chinese deal.

Warriors forward Ekpe Udoh and Wizards swingman Cartier Martin were both victims of an alleged Ponzi scheme planned by the late J. David Salinas, a Houston-area businessman and AAU operator.

Udoh and Martin lost about $350,000 each, which is a pretty big loss for two guys who haven't made a whole lot since entering the league. They weren't the only ones who were victimized, either, as many big-name college coaches and others were taken for $7.8 million total when Salinas allegedly issued bonds that may not exist.

The Warriors have picked up the 2012-13 option on Ekpe Udoh.

The Suns have reportedly talked to the Warriors about a deal that would send center Robin Lopez to Golden State for center Ekpe Udoh and the 11th pick in Thursday's draft.

The Suns are reportedly trying to get a second first-round pick in order to draft a point guard and power forward on Thursday.

Ekpe Udoh had 10 points, four rebounds and four blocks in Sunday's loss to the Kings.

Udoh played nearly 26 minutes, which is about his ceiling right now. Although the rookie is wildly inconsistent, he's a legit blocks specialist. Udoh is averaging two blocks per game in 25 games since the All-Star break.

Ekpe Udoh fell flat on his face in Saturday's win over the Mavs, lasting just 16 minutes due to foul trouble, with no points, one rebound, and one block to his credit.

Young players that aren't dominant forces generally struggle with their consistency, and in particular, shot-blockers in that category will have a handful of these nights. Unfortunately for owners, the possibility that a fringe player does something like this makes owning Udoh untenable.

Ekpe Udoh cooled off on Wednesday with just three points, four rebounds and zero blocks in a loss to the Grizzlies.

Udoh was a hot pickup and didn't deliver tonight, but should bounce back (at least in blocks) in his next one.

Ekpe Udoh posted another good line in Tuesday's loss, scoring 12 points on 4-of-11 shooting with six rebounds, two steals, and three blocks in 39 minutes.

He's racking up blocks and providing serviceable low-end stats, depending on your format. Give him a look if you need a big man.
