Sat Dec 14 201302:38Jordan Hamilton scores 17 off Nuggets bench
Jordan Hamilton had 17 points, five rebounds, a steal and four 3-pointers in Friday's loss to the Jazz.
Hamilton caught fire tonight and Randy Foye watched most of this one from the bench because of it. He's hit double figures in four of his last seven games and could be ready to enter a true timeshare with Foye. Keep an eye on him.

Sat Dec 7 201321:47Jordan Hamilton gets hot as Nuggets pull away
The Nuggets pulled away from the 76ers on Saturday with a boost from Jordan Hamilton, who came off the bench for 13 points, five rebounds and two steals.
He made 3-of-3 three-pointers in a late spurt that sealed the win for Denver. Unfortunately, in order to have reliable fantasy value he'd need to be abnormally efficient in a limited bench role, as he's averaging just 17 minutes per game. Ty Lawson's absence with a hamstring injury cleared a few extra backcourt minutes tonight.

Fri Nov 22 201301:55Jordan Hamilton gets hot late in win
Jordan Hamilton got hot late in Thursday's win over the Bulls with 17 points, six boards, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 22 minutes.
He scored eight of those in the fourth quarter, so this line is a little misleading. Hamilton has been bumped to the bench with the return of Wilson Chandler, so he's not really worth owning in most circumstances with his current role.

Sat Nov 9 201307:11Hamilton goes for 19 & 9 with three triples
Jordan Hamilton started once again at small forward for the Nuggets on Friday, and scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting (including three 3-pointers) with nine rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes.
Hamilton is making his presence felt in Denver and has undergone a total turnaround after spending much of last season in George Karl's doghouse. Unfortunately, Wilson Chandler hopes to return on Monday and that's probably enough to elbow Hamilton out of the standard league discussion. Still, it's possible the light bulb has turned on and he's a guy that owners will want to take a close look at.

Wed Nov 6 201301:25Hamilton scores 11, hits three treys in start
Jordan Hamilton moved into the starting lineup for the Nuggets on Tuesday and hit three 3-pointers, finishing with 11 points and four rebounds on 4-of-6 shooting in 23 minutes.
He should continue to start until Wilson Chandler is over his hamstring injury, but Hamilton is only worth a look in deeper leagues for now, as his run should be relatively short lived.

Mon Nov 4 201315:33Jordan Hamilton will start at small forward
Jordan Hamilton will start at small forward against the Spurs on Tuesday.
The Nuggets want to get some added perimeter shooting, which isn't much of a surprise since they rank just 24th in attempts from downtown per game in this young season. Hamilton had a nice summer league, but it's anyone's guess on how they're going to split the minutes. He's only worth a look in deep leagues.

Tue Feb 12 201321:45Jordan Hamilton fills the stat sheet in loss
Jordan Hamilton filled the stat sheet in 28 minutes against the Raptors on Tuesday, scoring seven points with five boards, two assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer on 3-of-10 shooting.
His two blocks and steals were both season highs and the Nuggets needed him with Andre Iguodala, Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler all out of the lineup. Chances are that at least one of those three players will be back on Wednesday, so Hamilton can be left on the waiver wire in almost all leagues.

Wed Dec 26 201220:16Jordan Hamilton fined $25,000 for cursing
The NBA fined Jordan Hamilton $25,000 for cursing at fans in Los Angeles.
The incident occurred in the fourth quarter on Tuesday and the TV microphones picked it up clearly. He will not be suspended and this has no impact on his insignificant fantasy value.

Mon Dec 17 201200:40Jordan Hamilton scores 15 points off bench
Jordan Hamilton lit up the Kings for 15 points in just 20 minutes on Sunday, adding four rebounds, two turnovers and one steal in the Nuggets' easy road victory.
Jordan didn't do anything spectacular -- he made a variety of wide open shots against shoddy defense -- yet most Kings media reacted as though he were suddenly unstoppable (one announcer said, "If he keeps playing like this we'll be talking about him in the Hall of Fame in 20 years, won't we?") He was averaging 3.0 points in his previous four games and has been racking up DNP-CDs lately, which is all fantasy owners need to know.

Wed Oct 31 201222:32Jordan Hamilton draws start for Nuggets
Jordan Hamilton started in place of injured Danilo Gallinari (ankle) on Wednesday and had four points and six rebounds in 13 minutes.
Corey Brewer had eight points and six boards in 27 minutes, while Wilson Chandler added five points and three rebounds in 20 minutes. When Gallinari returns, it's hard to imagine these guys having fantasy value.

Sat Oct 27 201202:16Jordan Hamilton goes for 15 and 10
Jordan Hamilton celebrated the Nuggets picking up his contract option with a shooting-fest on Friday, going 6-of-17 from the field for 15 points with 10 rebounds and a 3-point bucket.
Hamilton saw 27 minutes off the bench as the starters mostly rested, and this will likely be the most we see out of him this season as long as the Nuggets remain upright.

Mon Oct 22 201219:06Nuggets pick up third year option on Hamilton
The Nuggets picked up the third year option on forward Jordan Hamilton.
Hamilton comes cheap and has shown enough to last another year, but one has to think that he will have to make some strides toward becoming a more complete player if he is going to stick around after that.

Fri Sep 28 201209:14Hamilton needs to improve defense, rebounding
The Nuggets want Jordan Hamilton to work on his defense and rebounding.
Hamilton's scoring ability has never been in question--it's the other elements of his game that have prevented him from seeing consistent minutes in the NBA. If he becomes a more complete player, George Karl should have an easier time trusting him in the rotation. However, the Nuggets are stacked on the wing, so Hamilton isn't likely to be relevant to fantasy owners.

Mon Jun 4 201218:13Nuggets happy with Jordan Hamilton's offense
The Nuggets were pleased with Jordan Hamilton's offense as a rookie, but want him to improve his defense this summer.
Hamilton, who averaged 4.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 26 games, has already returned to full-scale workouts and seems eager to earn more minutes. It's not outside the realm of possibility, especially if the Nuggets don't retain restricted FA Rudy Fernandez.

Sun Apr 8 201210:01George Karl heaps praise on Jordan Hamilton
George Karl praised Jordan Hamilton's play for how he adjusted to a starting role.
"He did what we thought he could do," Karl said. The head coach said that Hamilton has made a lot of progress since January, but he's not on the fantasy radar with Danilo Gallinari (thumb) expected back on Monday.

Sat Apr 7 201205:09Jordan Hamilton scores 11 points
Jordan Hamilton scored 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes on Friday against the Suns.
The per-minute numbers here aren't bad, but the fantasy discussion with Hamilton will be short-lived with Danilo Gallinari returning as soon as Monday.

Fri Apr 6 201220:06Hamilton to start on Friday vs. Suns
Jordan Hamilton will start at small forward in Friday's game against the Suns.
Corey Brewer is struggling and the two will split time tonight initially, with George Karl going with production and game flow after that. Both players are safe for deep leagues only tonight.

Fri Apr 6 201214:26Jordan Hamilton to start Friday for Nuggets?
With Danilo Gallinari (thumb) and Wilson Chandler (groin) nursing injuries, Jordan Hamilton may get the start on Friday night against the Suns.
Hamilton was running with the first team at Nuggets shootaround on Friday, but even if he does start he will likely share time with Corey Brewer, making both of them risky plays in fantasy lineups. We'd stay away if possible.

Thu Feb 23 201202:33Rookie Jordan Hamilton has career night
Rookie Jordan Hamilton came off the bench for 18 points, seven rebounds and four 3-pointers (all career highs) on 6-of-11 shooting in Wednesday's loss.
With the Nuggets missing several key players, Hamilton was turned loose by George Karl tonight, and responded with a great line. There's no reason to add him after the big line, but he should at least be put on fantasy radar screens going forward.
