Tue Nov 6 201205:43Zeller goes for 15 & 7; takes blow to face
Tyler Zeller put up career-highs of 15 points and seven rebounds on Monday, but took a blow to the face and did not return to the game during the second half.
Tristan Thompson pulled his disappearing act on offense with one point on 0-for-6 shooting with eight rebounds, three steals, and a block in 32 minutes, which shows that Zeller can put up numbers while Thompson is getting heavy minutes and also gives him a win tonight in the position battle. X-rays taken were negative and he will be evaluated on Tuesday. Either way, owners should give him a look if they're hunting for a No. 2/3 center.

Sat Nov 3 201201:55Zeller scores eight points with foul trouble
Tyler Zeller played just 14 minutes due to foul trouble on Friday, scoring eight points on 3-of-5 shooting with two rebounds and two steals.
Zeller got three fouls in four first-half minutes and actually bounced back well according to the local beat writers. He hasn't done anything to warrant much consideration for ownership unless you're looking for developmental big man depth.

Tue Oct 30 201222:09Tyler Zeller plays 15 minutes off bench
Tyler Zeller played 15 minutes off the Cavs bench on Tuesday, finishing with five points, two rebounds, a steal and a block.
Zeller has skills and potential and there was even some chatter about him possibly starting at C, but as long as Anderson Varejao and Tristan Thompson are healthy, he's going to have trouble seeing enough minutes to make an impact.

Wed Oct 24 201216:04Tyler Zeller in running for Cavs starting job
Byron Scott didn't rule out the possibility of Tyler Zeller starting at center for the Cavaliers.
Zeller looked good in a start on Tuesday, posting 13 points and seven rebounds against Roy Hibbert. Asked whether he could crack the starting five, Scott said, "[I'm] not sure. If you look at [preseason] Game 1 to Game 7, he's come a long way in a short period of time." He's worth watching closely as an early-season waiver wire pickup.

Tue Oct 23 201222:44Tyler Zeller continues solid preseason
Tyler Zeller had 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block after starting against the Bulls on Tuesday.
Zeller got the start at center with Anderson Varejao sliding over to forward and Tristan Thompson coming off the bench. The NBA-ready product from North Carolina continues to impress and could force fantasy owners to consider him as a No. 2 center late in drafts.
