Kidd-Gilchrist continued to Shine Sunday against the Magic, posting his third straight double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. He added two assists and one steal in 39 minutes of action.

Kidd-Gilchrist is averaging 15.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.0 steals over the last five games, and it's a wonder that he's been keeping this up for so long. Owners can continue to ride him in the meantime, as Charlotte has a legendary playoffs schedule and Kidd-Gilchrist continues to produce while healthy.

Kidd-Gilchrist scored a team-high 18 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 FT) with 12 rebounds and a steal in 42 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Bulls.

MKG's looked very good since returning to the lineup from a minor hamstring issue, averaging 17.7 points on 56.4% field goal shooting with 7.3 boards in three games. Perhaps not coincidentally, that's when Mo Williams began filling in for Kemba Walker (knee) as the Hornets' point guard. Walker is out of action until at least mid-March, so Kidd-Gilchrist could have some surprising short-term value in the meantime.

For the season, he is averaging just 10.5 points, so the 20 points scored Saturday is the exception, not the rule.

Over his last six games, MKG is averaging 12.3 points and 10.2 boards with four double-doubles. His lack of steals, blocks or threes limits his value in most leagues, but if you need a boost in rebounds Kidd-Gilchrist can give it to you without tying up a C or PF spot.

That's MKG's third double-double in his last four games, and he appears to be back in his early season form. His low usage rate puts a ceiling on his fantasy value, and he won't help you much outside of his points and boards, but his minutes and production should be solid moving forward.

Kidd-Gilchrist scored six points (2-4 FG, 2-2 FT) to go along with seven rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes Monday against the Celtics.

Kidd-Gilchrist was in foul trouble Monday and didn't play much as a result. He's been on fire of late, so expect him to continue to see plenty of playing time unless he gets into foul trouble again.

Kidd-Gilchrist has been aggressive offensively and has taken at least 10 shots in his last four games. He has made 46.9 percent of his field goals and averaged 13.8 points with 8.3 rebounds over that span. Kidd-Gilchrist may be a decent player to add while Al Jefferson (groin) is out.

Kidd-Gilchrist fell one point shy of his season high on his season mark in shot attempts. He may get a bump in offensive production while Al Jefferson (groin) is out for the next four weeks. The second pick of the 2012 draft bears watching, particularly in deeper leagues.

Kidd-Gilchrist stuffed the stat sheet on Saturday and flashed the potential that Charlotte has been looking for since they drafted him No.2 overall in 2012. Still, he's likely the fourth option on offense most nights, and will need to earn consistent minutes and improve his jumper before becoming a reliable fantasy option. Consider him a deep league utility option for the time being.
