Wed Sep 8 202117:53Justin Turner Isn't Starting On Wednesday
Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner is on the bench for Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. The veteran is batting .280 with a .369 on-base percentage, 23 home runs, and two stolen bases in 528 plate appearances this season. Max Muncy will move over to third base with Albert Pujols stepping in at first base and hitting seventh against Cardinals right-hander Adam Wainwright. Sat Aug 14 202115:53Justin Turner Remains Sidelined On Saturday
Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (groin) remains out of the lineup on Saturday versus the New York Mets. Turner suffered a left groin injury on Sunday and has not played since, but manager Dave Roberts said earlier in the week that he doesn't believe Turner will need a trip to the injured list. The Dodgers have every reason to remain cautious with Turner and he will once again be replaced in the lineup by outfielder Billy McKinney. McKinney will bat eighth versus Taijuan Walker. McKinney has struggled offensively this season and is a dart throw in DFS on Saturday.
