Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Tarik Skubal suffered his 10th loss of the year as the Tigers fell 4-3 to the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. Skubal pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed seven hits, one walk and four earned runs while striking out four. He was the victim of three Orioles home runs in the game. Through 21 games (19 starts) on the year, Skubal is 6-10 with a 4.53 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP. He had a 3.14 ERA in June, but his July ERA was 5.86. He'll look to get back on track in his next trip to the mound against the Boston Red Sox on Thursday.
