Both Reyes and manager Terry Collins are confident a disabled list stint will not be necessary. Reyes was injured in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.

3B Jose Reyes led off Friday's game with a double and a steal, positioning himself to trot home on a Yoenis Cespedes sacrifice fly. Reyes' efforts helped the Mets end their futility against Adam Conley. The Mets entered the game with zero runs in their past 13 innings versus Conley. The Rockies acquired Reyes from Toronto in the five-player trade that sent SS Troy Tulowitzki to the Blue Jays on July 28, and they owe Reyes about $41 million.
