Shane Robinson had three hits and three RBI in the Cardinals' 11-3 win over the Phillies on Wednesday.
Robinson singled in the third inning, singled again in the fourth inning and then delivered a bases-loaded triple in the fifth inning. The diminutive outfielder doesn't get much playing time, but he's been fairly productive for the Cardinals when called upon this year. St. Louis is 61-37 with an outrageous +140 run differential.

Sat Jul 6 201317:24Robinson's single leads to win for Cardinals
Shane Robinson delivered a pinch-hit single which led to the game-winning run in a 5-4 walkoff victory over the Marlins on Saturday.
After Jon Jay drew a two-out walk against A.J. Ramos, Robinson came up to bat for Cardinals' closer Edward Mujica. He pushed it through the right side of the infield for a single, but the relay throw from Giancarlo Stanton went under Logan Morrison's glove at first base, which allowed Jay to scamper home with the winning run. Ugly. Robinson is batting .230/.359/.344 in 77 plate appearances with the Cardinals this season and doesn't get enough playing time to warrant attention in fantasy leagues.

Shane Robinson scored a run as a pinch-runner in Sunday's 11-4 extra-innings win against the Reds.

Fri Mar 8 201317:18Shane Robinson hits grand slam in victory
Shane Robinson had a grand slam, a double and a walk Friday in the Cardinals' 16-10 defeat of the Nationals.
At 16-for-30 this spring, Robinson is putting distance between himself, Adron Chambers and Justin Christian in the competition for a bench spot. The Cardinals could always eschew all of them and go with Oscar Taveras instead, but that remains highly unlikely to happen.

Wed Feb 27 201316:44Shane Robinson scores four runs
After entering as a pinch-runner, Shane Robinson went 2-for-2 with three runs and four runs scored in the rout of the Mets on Wednesday.
Robinson is competing with Adron Chambers and Justin Christian for a spot on the St. Louis bench, but the winner probably won't have any fantasy value. If a starter goes down, the Cardinals will probably turn to Oscar Taveras or maybe put Allen Craig or Matt Carpenter in the outfield.

Sun May 13 201210:58Shane Robinson optioned
Cardinals optioned OF Shane Robinson to Triple-A Memphis.
Robinson got off to a surprisingly good start at the plate while receiving occasional playing time, and he's a terrific defensive center fielder. In reality, though, he's not much with the bat and is eminently replaceable as an extra outfielder.

Fri Apr 20 201215:40Shane Robinson starting in CF
Shane Robinson is starting in center field Friday in place of Jon Jay (shoulder).
An earlier report indicated that Skip Schumaker was starting in his first game back from the disabled list, but he'll evidently be on the bench first. Robinson is a fine defensive outfielder and is batting .400/.400/.667 with one homer in 15 at-bats early on, but the reality is that he's not much of a hitter. He could platoon in center with Schumaker while Jay is out.
