Emmanuel Burriss (foot) will continue his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Fresno on Monday night.
Burris was 3-for-14 (.214) with one RBI and a stolen base in five games with High-A San Jose last week. The 25-year-old infielder is currently working his way back from surgery on his left foot in March.

Sat May 22 201008:25Giants move Burriss to 60-day disabled list
Giants transferred 2B Emmanuel Burriss from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.
Burriss is still recovering from the surgery he had on his left foot in late March, but this move doesn't indicate a change in timetable. He's eligible to come off the DL in early June, which is right around when he should be completing a minor league rehab assignment, so this move shouldn't cost him much time at all. The Giants needed his roster spot to call up Santiago Casilla.
Wed May 12 201008:33Burriss (foot) resumes baseball activities
Emmanuel Burriss (foot) has resumed baseball activities.
Burriss, who underwent surgery on his left foot in late March, arrived in San Francisco on Tuesday to work out with the club. "We'll get a measuring stick of where he is [in his recovery]," said Giants manager Bruce Bochy. "A little change of scenery keeps you motivated." Burriss hopes to begin playing in minor league rehab games in about four weeks, with a possible return before the All-Star break.

Sun Apr 4 201015:52Giants place 2B Burriss on 15-day DL
Giants placed 2B Emmanuel Burriss on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26, with a broken left foot.
Burriss had a screw inserted into his foot midway through spring training, so he's not very close to healthy. Even when he is healthy, he'll probably go down to Triple-A Fresno to work on his on-base skills a little more. His .238/.292/.267 season last year did not guarantee him a spot on this year's roster and he needs to earn his way back once he shows he's healthy.
