In 110 minor league games in 2015 between Double-A and Triple-A, he batted .261/.308/.347 with four homers and 36 RBIs.

Torreyes was called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Torreyes began his year in the Houston organization and was traded to Toronto then Los Angeles. The 23-year-old is currently hitting .306/.40/.388 in Oklahoma City and could see some occasional appearances off the bench.

Torreyes was traded to the Dodgers on Friday in exchange for cash considerations. Torreyes will report to Double-A Tulsa.

Torreyes will head to this third organization of the season, as he began the year in Houston before being dealt to Toronto last month. The 22-year-old is hitting just .175 on the season in 35 combined games at the Double-A and Triple-A level.
