Tue Jun 25 2013 | 14:54 | Heat hold $4 million option on Chalmers |
The Heat hold a $4 million player option on Mario Chalmers for the 2013-14 season. |
It's a very fair price for an underrated 3-point shooter and the World Champions' starting point guard. The problem is that the Heat are already way over the 2013-14 salary cap, with $80 million in commitments. Ownership is going to have to open up its wallets in a big way to pay all the luxury tax that's coming. They shouldn't pinch pennies on Chalmers. |
