Chalmers had a rough game Saturday against the Grizzlies as he managed just seven points on 2 of 10 shooting from the field. He added three rebounds and three assists in 39 minutes It was his second straight game scoring in single digits.

Chalmers followed up his five point performance against the Cavaliers where he was 2-12 from the field with another uninspired game. He's shooting a paltry 33.7% from the field in his last ten games and is not helping his already limited fantasy value.

Chalmers recorded 14 points, three rebounds, and five assists in 36 minutes as the starting point guard against the Wizards on Friday.

Chalmers was given the opportunity to start over fellow point guard Norris Cole on Friday and Chalmers was able to put a decent game together. It's still unclear if Chalmers will continue to start for the Heat, although Cole played 31 minutes Friday so the two will likely be given a similar amount of minutes regardless of who starts moving forward.

Chalmers will start Friday against the Wizards.

Chalmers and Norris Cole continue to battle for the starting point guard job, and Chalmers has drawn the start Friday. He will have a tough assignment Friday, guarding the Wizards' star point guard in John Wall.

Chalmers had one of his worst games of the season in a win over the Jazz on Friday, scoring just four points (1-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) in 24 minutes of action.

Chalmers and Norris Cole have been battling for the starting point guard spot of all season, but Cole has been starting of late, and rightfully so. Chalmers is shooting just 20 percent from three this month and is averaging 11 points and 3.8 assists per game after averaging 14.3 and 2.4 in November, while shooting 34.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Chalmers scored 11 points (3-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and added two rebounds in 15 minutes of work against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Chalmers didn't have much time in this game, but he did rack up five fouls so his time on the court was limited by foul trouble.

Chalmers and Norris Cole have been battling for the point guard position all season. Chalmers came off the bench in this game and Cole started. Cole also had the better night. At this point it appears that Cole has the grasp of the starting job.

Chalmers didn't start the game, but he still totaled heavy minutes on Sunday. He finished with 12 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three points, two assists, and four steals in 31 minutes.

It wasn't the best game Chalmers could have had, but he was able to make the most of it by posting four steals. He's been regularly getting around 30 minutes, while he's been offering a nice combination of threes, steals and assists to make him worth owning. While he may not be an elite point guard, he remains a solid player for fantasy purposes.

Chalmers will make the start at point guard Wednesday.

Norris Cole is out with an illness, allowing Chalmers to step back into the starting lineup, making him a strong play in daily leagues. Shabazz Napier will handle the backup duties.

Don't look now, but Chalmers is averaging 21.0 points over his last three games. He has seen increased playing time of late with Dwayne Wade (hamstring) out of action, but Chalmers has put together some nice games even when Wade is healthy. He's not an elite fantasy option by any means, but he can be serviceable.

Chalmers will start in place of Dwyane Wade (hamstring) on Sunday against the Bucks.

This will be Chalmers' first start of the season as he's normally been the first man off the bench for Miami. Wade sat out Friday's came against the Hawks but James Ennis made the start. Coach Erik Spoelstra decided to make a change Sunday however, and Chalmers will likely be in line for a bump in playing time.

Chalmers came off the bench and scored 23 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT) and passed for 11 assists in 40 minutes against the Hawks Friday.

James Ennis started for the injured Dwayne Wade (hamstring), but it was Chalmers who saw all the extra court time. Ennis played only six minutes, while Chalmers had probably his best game of the season. Even though Chalmers is coming off the bench behind Norris Cole this season, both point guards are averaging similar workloads, and both are reasonable fantasy options in most formats. Because neither guard is a consistently strong scorer, both are under-owned considering their abilities to contribute across multiple categories.

Chalmers came off the bench again adding 12 points, 3 assists and 5 rebounds.

Chalmers also had 5 turnovers, but this is the second game where he has come off the bench and has been more effective than starting point guard, Norris Cole. This is also a game where Chalmers has received more minutes than Cole. Chalmers is still productive, and this performance makes it seem like his role off the bench does not affect his mentality at all.

Chalmers provided 20 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 6-10 FT) with two rebounds, four assists, and four steals in 25 minutes off the Heat bench in the win over the 76ers on Saturday.

Chalmers is backing up Norris Cole, but the former Jayhawk was more effective against Philadelphia. He has played 25 minutes in both games, but it appears his production will be inconsistent, depending on the opponent.

Chalmers went 3-of-7 from the field for 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in their victory over the Wizards on Wednesday.

Chalmers lost the starting job to teammate Norris Cole, but his offensive production remains relatively efficient. Miami's guard play will allow their point guards to generate offensive stats, but if Chalmers' minutes remain around 25, expect these numbers to become the norm for him.

Chalmers returned to action over the weekend after battling a hip injury last week.

He also played in Saturday's win over San Antonio, contributing 11 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Chalmers suffered the injury a week ago, and missed Tuesday's preseason game to recover. The injury was never thought to be serious though, and his return in Friday's game confirms that he will be ready to go for the season opener.
