Plumlee scored 15 points (5-9 FG, 5-8 FT) and grabbed 15 rebounds in 32 minutes against the 76ers Friday.

Plumlee also added an assist and two steals in the game. This mark's Plumlee's second straight double-double. Plumlee is the full-time starter in Brooklyn, and though he is still prone to bad nights - or even bad stretches - he has value in most formats.

Plumlee scored 16 points (5-11 FG, 6-11 FT) with 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 37 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Celtics.

Brook Lopez was a non-factor in this one, which afforded Plumlee the court time to put up solid numbers. If the struggling Nets decide to move their veterans at some points, or Lopez gets hurt again, Plumlee would likely be in line for a big second half.

Plumlee continues to start and play more minutes than Brook Lopez. Although he only grabbed four rebounds Monday, he had registered at least eight rebounds in 10 straight games. As long as he continues to produce, it appears Plumlee has a good chance of holding onto the starting center job.

Plumlee's double-double streak ends at three games, but he was still productive for owners that were fortunate enough to pick him up off the waiver-wire. With Brook Lopez still struggling to regain his fitness, Plumlee looks set to remain the start for the immediate future, but once Lopez is back to full strength, a heavily reduced role for Plumlee beckons. If you can sell high, now is the time to execute the manoeuvre.

He's averaging a double-double in his current run of four games in the starting lineup, but Plumlee's production is going to be contingent upon the health (or lackthereof) of Lopez. If Lopez is healthy enough to play, Plumlee is unlikely to get enough minutes to be of use in standard leagues, but whenever Lopez is out, Plumlee is a must-roster player. Lopez will be out at least two more games, giving Plumlee extended value at the moment.

Plumlee spent 28 minutes on the court Wednesday against the Bulls during his replacement start and managed to put up eight points, eight rebounds, two assists, and three blocks.

With Mirza Teletovic (hip) and Brook Lopez (back) sidelined Wednesday, Plumlee was moved into the starting power forward slot and spent more time on the court than any other game this season. As long as Teletovic and Lopez are sidelined, Plumlee will more than likely see extended time on the court.

With Brook Lopez (back) out and Mirza Teletovic (hip) questionable, the Nets will turn to Plumlee to start alongside Kevin Garnett in the frontcourt. He has not played more than 19 minutes over the past five games, although his per minute numbers suggest he could be a solid cheap play in daily leagues as a starter.

Plumlee has fallen out of favor with coach Lionel Hollins as the coach openly prefers fellow center Jerome Jordan on the court over Plumlee, Newsday reports.

Plumlee has only spent 19 minutes on the court over Brooklyn's last four games. When compared to Jordan's 37 minutes over the same time span, it appears that Plumlee is now very limited off the bench. On top of this, Hollins also stated that he shies away from having Plumlee and Mirza Teletovic on the court at the same time, which further dismantles Plumlee's viability since Teletovic averages 25.2 minutes per game.

Plumlee came off the bench for just three minutes against the Thunder on Friday but managed to put up two points (1-1 FG) and grab one rebound during his short time on the court.

Plumlee also tallied two quick fouls during his time on the court Friday. Perhaps even more startling for Plumlee's interest holders is that fellow center Jerome Jordan played 13 minutes Friday. It would be unlikely if Jordan jumped Plumlee in the pecking order, but as for now, Plumlee seems to be falling out of favor with coach Lionel Hollins.

Plumlee will start at center in Wednesday's season opener against the Celtics, The Record reports.

Plumlee will start in place of injured teammate Brook Lopez, whose sprained foot has sidelined him recently. In wake of Lopez missing time last season, Plumlee started 22 games as a rookie, averaging 7.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 block in 21.7 minutes of play. Come tip-off Wednesday night, expect Plumlee to match-up with fellow second-year center Kelly Olynyk in Boston.

Plumlee will most likely start Wednesday versus the Celtics with Brook Lopez still doubtful.

Lopez is unlikely to play in the season opener, much less start, which means Plumlee is in line for some big minutes. Plumlee was one of the biggest surprises for the Nets last season, averaging 7.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per game.

Plumlee could start Wednesday against the Celtics if Brook Lopez (foot) is unable to play, Tim Bontemps of the New York Post reports.

Lopez's availability is still in question as of Tuesday afternoon, but coach Lionel Hollins said if he's unable to go, Plumlee will get the call as the starting center alongside Kevin Garnett. When Lopez is healthy he's firmly entrenched as the starer, but Plumlee is due for an uptick in minutes this season after a breakout summer that saw him unexpectedly make Team USA's final roster for the FIBA World Cup. The aging Garnett will also see plenty of rest, which should free up some minutes for Plumlee at the power forward spot.

He's having a big finish to the preseason, seeing starter's minutes with Brook Lopez sidelined, and if Lopez's foot injury keeps him out of any regular season contests Plumlee looks like he'll be a more than capable replacement.

Plumlee scored 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-12 FT) with 17 rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes during Monday's preseason win over the Sixers.

That sound you just heard was Plumlee's name shooting up everybody's cheat sheets. The weak free throw shooting is a concern but he was a 63% FT shooter as a rookie, and with Brook Lopez once again having foot issues Plumlee should get at least a few games at the start of the regular season to show what he can do as a starter.

Plumlee scored 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-5 FT) with five rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's preseason OT win over the Kings.

His overall fantasy value this season will likely depend on how many games Brook Lopez misses, but even in a bench role Plumlee's potential for an elite FG% along with decent front court stats makes him an intriguing end game asset.

Plumlee (foot) has been used sparingly by the United States in the FIBA World Cup Games.

Plumlee dealt with a sore foot during the NBA Summer League, but it hasn't been an issue for him so far during his time in the FIBA World Cup.He's averaged six minutes per game in the six games he's played in, but the lack of minutes is due more to his overall skill set compared to the other players currently on the roster, and less due to limitations from the foot injury he was dealing with back in July. He should be 100 percent come time for Nets' training camp and shouldn't have any limitations.

Mason Plumlee has been promoted to the Team USA National Team.

He was part of the Select Team but a lack of big men prompted executive director Jerry Colangelo to let him compete for one of Team USA's 12 roster spots. It's doubtful that he'll make the cut, but it's a testament to Plumlee's skills and rising profile in the NBA. He's poised to have a solid season in Brooklyn, especially if Brook Lopez is limited by his surgically-repaired feet.
