Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron says that David Reed still has a chance to beat out Torrey Smith for the No. 3 wideout job.
We're not really buying Cameron's coachspeak here. Smith has been running in all three-wide sets and is the vastly superior talent. Reed may not like it, but he's merely headed for a kick return role once again this season.

Ravens rookie WR David Reed is reportedly "dropping passes at an alarming rate" in training camp.
Reed was the star of no-contact spring practices. The Baltimore Sun suggests Reed's regression has occurred because his "head is swimming," but he was not known as a physical player at Utah. It may be more due to the switch over to full-padded work. He's not a great bet to make the roster.
