Williams had a huge game of the bench on Sunday to help his team get a win. He finished with 31 points (11-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 5-9 FT), five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 34 minutes.

Williams is coming off of a pair of underwhelming games, but he was feeling himself tonight to produce one of his bigger games this season. With DeMar Derozan missing time Toronto will need other players to step up in his absence. Williams will get all the minutes he can handle, and while his shot won't always hit like tonight, he is still producing solid value for a waiver grab in most leagues.

Williams was likely licking his chops against the defensively challenged Knicks. He has averaged 16.0 points in his last five games, but doesn't offer much for fantasy owners beyond points, 3-pointers, and free throw percentage.

With the Raptors' starters flagging on the second night of a back-to-back, Williams and the second unit carries the club to victory. He's now scored at least 15 points in three straight games, and may be about to go on another tear.

He's been running hot and cold in December, alternating single digit efforts with 17, 26 and 26 point nights, but Williams has still become an indispensable part of the bench in his first season in Toronto. In deep leagues, his ability to rain threes when he's locked in is his primary source of fantasy value, but the combo guard is also averaging a useful 1.2 steals a game.

He's not quite as red hot as he was at the end of November, but Williams is still capable of going off at a moment's notice. His lack of production in other categories makes him tough to roster in shallower leagues, however.

His hot streak has faded, but Williams is still averaging 14 points a night over his last four games and will be relied upon as the Raptors' main source of second unit offense with Greivis Vasquez subbing for the injured DeMar DeRozan in the starting lineup.
