Justin Maxwell blasted his fifth home run of the season on Tuesday, helping to lead the Astros to a 9-8 victory over the Cardinals.
He finished the night 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI while hitting third for the Astros. He's been fairly productive on the season to this point, hitting .250 with five homers and 15 RBI in just 76 at-bats. If he continues to receive regular playing time, his power/speed combination could be useful in deeper mixed leagues.

Maxwell ran out of chances with the Nationals, but the Yankees are willing to take a chance on his athleticism. The 27-year-old outfielder is unlikely to make much of an impact with the clubs but if he's fully recovered from Tommy John surgery, look for him to compete for a backup outfielder job during spring training.
