Sat Aug 11 201222:17Tejada has two hits, RBI in loss to Braves
Ruben Tejada had a strong night at the plate in Saturday's loss to the Braves, going 2-for-4 with a double, run scored and RBI.
Tejada just continues to hit, now hitting a blistering .321 on the season with a homer and 19 RBI. While he offers very little in the power or speed departments, he can still be an asset with his plus average and strong runs scored totals as a middle infielder in most fantasy formats.

Thu Aug 2 201201:30Ruben Tejada hits rare home run in win
Ruben Tejada went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Giants.
He took Matt Cain deep in the first. Tejada's first blast of the season was his first since September 5, 2010. He has two career home runs in 234 major-league games. Adam Dunn, he is not, but Tejada's .319/.364/.391 slash makes him useful for NL-only league purposes.

Sat Jun 30 201201:26Ruben Tejada goes 4-for-5
Ruben Tejada went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI against the Dodgers on Friday.
Tejada went 2-for-12 in his first three games off the DL, but he's 8-for-15 in the last three. There's not enough speed or power here to make Tejada much of an asset as a fantasy shortstop, but with his average up to .318, he's certainly been a nice player for the Mets thus far.
